The really slow loss team!

Well done for the maintain. It is always better then a gain.

Pomme you have so much going on at the moment try not to worry about the scales.

Official post holiday weigh in was 2lb on which I am content with. It puts me 1lb over target which is still in target range so that suits me just fine.
I would like to lose next week to get under target again but got two meals out planned
well done chica, that's a titchy holiday gain and you're still in range. yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy :)

Well done Latte. As Bev says, that is titchy holiday gain :D

My 'best' gain was 10lbs when we went to Florida.

I think I gained 4 but had nearly a week before I got weighed and two of those days I barely ate due to stomach stuff.

I am really pleased with 2lbs but it did involve no bread every other day and also being fairly strict every other day but it was worth it and I wore my bikini !!

Back in hiding ladies ............ 2.5 off omg !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pom I'm standing in the corner xx

Well done honey

C'mon.......share your secret Ann :D

Oh dear, 2.5lbs on for me! Thinking (hoping) it's just carb bloat because we've had visitors for the last couple of days and I've done a few green days this week. I honestly don't see how I've consumed sufficient calories for that much gain. Will allow myself a week to get it off - if I don't, then I'll remove the 4st sticker.

I really think I have to accept that I've now reached my body's natural weight for my height and age. It's hard enough to keep it at this weight, let alone trying to lose more.

Scan bran cake? Yes, I use in moderation but don't think I'd dare eat a full HExB's worth every day!

sorry to hear about the gain, same thing hsppened to me a while back and I certainly didn't eat 2.5lb worth of calories!!! it's one of lifes mysteries  how much more do you think you need to lose? and I do think as you get older your body selects its own target ;) or in work the girls of a more 'mature 'age say it's your figure or your face'......;)

You are within your healthy BMI now Patty so your body is reluctant to lose any more. My GP and dietician have both said they would be more than happy for me to have a BMI of 26-27 as I am now over (pretty well over too) 50 and they are more interested in my body fat %tage which they would like to be 30 tops, which I am not far off now, despite being the best part of 2 stone 'overweight' according to my BMI!

Yes agree ...as an over 50 I know my now "ideal"weight will be 2st heavier than when I was in my 20s,will be happy with a size 16 .x

I agree weight targets change with age and aa long as the drs specialists etc are happy then we should be too.

I need to accept I won't get that extra 10lbs off to get to my wedding weight of 5.5 years ago.

I am worried about weigh in on Tuesday as my eating has been out of control since we have been back and last night I had half a pack of ginger biscuits just one after the other after the other.

My scales are showing 4lbs up in 2 weeks which is terrifying me for wi on Tuesday

I don't want the scales ruining my life again but I don't want to be in the 11st bracket again

Thank you ladies. You're all echoing what the lovely Pom said a while ago.

I'd hoped to get to 10st 4lb at worst, and into the 9st bracket at best, but it seems that my body says otherwise. Perhaps it is unrealistic to expect to be able to maintain a weight at 56 that I couldn't sustain in my 30s, so I have decided that this is 'it' and I'm calling target at 10st 7lb which is a 4st loss.

I have a feeling that I've done the easy bit and that the hard work is just starting!

I've been for my weigh in and lost 2 1/2 this week and got my 1 stone award
