The Slim Fast 2 week challenge - 100% Honesty

BBQ, wow haven't had one of those for a very long time lol! We have one but can never be bothered lol! Why don't you put a chicken fillet on the bbq and have it with some nice salad and maybe a pitta bread or something? That'd be lovely, I may come to yours for dinner lol!

100% so far today! Shake, mini breaks, shake! Although I was just making my lunchtime shake and my blender broke :( Luckily had almost finished, most of the powder was mixed in but ended up with a few lumps of ice lol! Gonna have to go and buy a new one now!
 
Blenders huh, mine did the same to me a few weeks ago which could be why i'v been having such trouble getting my arse into gear. I cant stand them not blended with ice. I wouldn't mind but i only had my blender a few months, keep meaning to take it back but i got it from sainsbury's and i haven't shopped there for a few weeks.

I will chat up my OH on the phone before he finishes work and see if he will be a little darling and bring me home a chicken fillet, the idea of a nice fillet in some pitta bread with salad sounds yum yum yummy !! and means i get to enjoy a bbq whoooooo thanks for the idea starky :D

S - 2 Small apples - Had my afternoon snack early as i was so tempted to eat some biscuits.

+ 1.5L of water

We are all going good so far, we can do it !! we CAN bag our first 100% day. lol here i am at 1pm wishing it was bed time so i can say i have managed my first 100% day of the challenge.
 
Yep that sounds good to me too, I may have to get chicken and pitta bread for dinner too, but will be doing mine under the grill lol! I can't moan, I've had my blender for about 5 years or so, so hasn't done bad! It's done a lot of SF shakes and baby food too. I can't stand them without ice either, yuk yuk, so will be nipping out later to get a new one!

Yes we can do it and be 100% today!! All this talk of chicken and pitta bread is making me hungry lol, but putting off my afternoon snack as long as possible. One day at a time and we'll get there! I'm thinking about not weighing until the end of the two weeks, usually weigh once a week.
 
Yep I'm a scale addict too, that's why I thought I'd try and stop myself lol! Even when I weigh once a week, sometimes I can't resist to have a peek mid week lol!
 
oh yes i sure know what its like, one week i remember weighing in every day and omg what a nightmare that was, every day i fluctuated by 2lb's and it just so happened that on my official WI day it was the plus 2lb day.
 
Yep, been there! Going to definitely try not to weigh until after the two weeks is up! We'll see, that'll probably be harder than the two week challenge itself, lol!

I'm going to have to think about this one. i need to see the weekly loss to keep me going but it would be nice to see a bigger loss on the 2 week wi.
 
I don't think I could wait 2wks before weighing, I definitely need to do it each week, especially at first...maybe once I see the weight coming off then I could leave it two weeks:)

I have been so good today, dh and the kids have all had chocolate cakes/bottles of pop etc and I have resisted (so far)

It's not too bad at the moment as dh is off uni so we can have dinner earlier:D I have salmon steaks in the oven at the moment and we are having it with salad, new pots, and sweetcorn. All adds up to 535cals, so I can have a squeeze of extra light salad cream too:D

I'm not going to join the challenge :eek: my sons band has got 4 gigs in the next 2 weeks...first one tonight, in Exmouth, lovely evening for the beach :D ..I just know that i'll have a drink or 3, and probably something to eat on the way home :eek: I'm more of a metal chick than a rock chick, my sister is Bon Jovi mad though!

Shake for breakie, ryvita mini breaks for snack, shake for lunck, walkers baked for snack, and for dinner tesco light choices chicken korma (yum). I was going to go for chicken fillet, pitta bread and salad, but they had the chicken korma on special for £1, so I though why not, quite fancied a curry. Plus was running a bit late and was really hungry by the time I was in tesco so wanted something mega quick when I got home. Definitely filling, couldn't quite eat all of it!
 
Way to go today Mel btw! Hard when hubby and kids are getting stuck in, I know that feeling well!!! x

Great news on the light choice curry too, I have ordered 4 of these on my shopping to come monday. I thought that way if the rest are having pie or something I can have one of those instead:)

So how did we do today girlies? I'm off to bed in a mo and been 100% today, didn't even have an evening snack, still full after my curry!
 
Morning all - Well BBQ was a bad idea :cry: I got my Oh to get me some chicken fillets and some ww pitta bread so i could have that with some salad and some light mayo, which was lovely. I was still on a roll at this point, when the damn ice-cream van came round and my boys and sister all went and got an :icecream:, but sad thing was my eldest had taken himself off to his room to use his pc but had fallen asleep so there i was holding his :icecream: trying my hardest to wake him up for it but it really wasnt happening so i had to lick it to stop it dripping :cry: then i decided i wasn't going to let this ruin my diet and i passed it to my OH who was still eating his bbq food when the :icecream: first came in. so untill then was good and i didnt really have that much ice-cream before i gave it to OH to eat.

But then due to the amount of left over sausages i had a sausage in a roll :cry: and then OH came out the kitchen with some maltesers :cry: So yep i failed yesterday :cry:

But here we go again today and i'm not doing a bbq today, total diet focus. Kids are not having no :icecream: today and i'm banning sweets from the house too so i really should manage my 100% day today ( i hope ) !!!

Oh Sass, that was a hard situation to be in for anybody! But at least you didn't eat the whole ice cream (think I would've lol!) and maltesers, well I'm a sucker for those! Especially the way they market them, making them seem not too bad!! LOL! I stay clear, well try to! I had a bag last week, oh and an ice cream last weekend so yep, I would've given in it that situation too. Just put yesterday behind you and start again today, you can do it. Anyway the kids will be back to school on Monday so will be a bit easier for us. Holidays and weekends are always hard.

My hubby has just eaten a huge fry up for brunch, although luckily I'm not a fan of fry ups so was quite safe and he didn't have toast with it like usual, that usually gets me going, I do love a piece of toast! But 100% so far today, will do it! Going to be slightly harder today as hubby and I are going ghost hunting tonight, so will have to have early dinner and take a snack with me. Hubby is also taking snacks, but I should imagine he'll have a lot more in the way of a snack than I am :( But I'll just take one snack with me, then I can't have anything else hopefully!!!
 
Ghost hunting huh ? You did very well this morning not to have some toast or anything, so well done you !!!!

Well i'm going to have a quiet day, i hope. Kids will be with their dad most the day so i might chill with a book or something.

I'm doing okay so far but then i do always find it easy during the day its the evenings and meal times that gets me.
 
Agree there eveings are the worst times! Especially if I'm in on my own as hubby is at work or something, I get bored and it's all too easy to keep snacking! Last night I was rather surprised with myself, hubby was out so I was just in watching TV and I didn't even have my one snack I was allowed! That dinner really did fill me up!

Just had a muller vitality yoghurt as snack after lunch, off in a mo to sort horses out and then it'll be almost dinner time when I get back and will be busy getting ready to go out etc. Yep ghost hunting! Never been on an investigation before so really looking forward to it.
