the times they are a changin......

its time to get the the finger out and get right back on track. did make it out on hogmanay and had a hangoverday yest so now i need to kick all of this down and get refocused. prob have 5lbs extra since last weigh in. damage limitation has been fairly successful as made it through dec in the 10s just and no more but that was my aim so result!
realistically not going to make my jan 5th goal of 10 10 but should be 10 12 or even 10 11 no point in dramatising a pound or too will just suck it up and get on with jans plans

by the end of jan i will be back at pre xmas weight through the medium of step 3 no ketosis to snap off the losses best to stick to the slower way as want this to be the maintanence that leads to life in the 10s rather than just bouncing right back out of them.
so end of jan be 10.8lbs on my scales in the morn (fingers crossed for 10.7 but that would be the brucie bonus)

once i get to 10.7 its time to come up the steps planning at least 2-3 weeks on each step but for now its all about jan and not just having a treat here or a treat there as little pickers wear big knickers!
so 2015 bring it on!

i am feeling increasing strong for this next push, have to say coming back on here and reading all the optomistic posts has really helped as i can start off with good intensions but by lunch time its all gone horribly wrong but not no and once i get a good run im back to being bullet proof.
so i challenged myself to a 10day health eat ie step3 no little sneeks , im 1 down:). had a check on the scales this morn and 10 11 and 3/4 loses are starting, lb already.
so here s to another day in the world of dieting

day 4 of the original health eat but 2 days ago i had a little scoff of some peanuts ( i say little but thats not true) so have blown my 10 11 out the water was 10 13 this morn, so that is the restart weight. day 2 of the health eat and all on track for a successful outcome just need to get my mind back out the trough and into the zone, i can and it will be done:)

3rd day of my ten day challenge was down to 10 12 this morn seems like the scales are going round in a bit of a dance 10 11 to 1013 so it's time I broke the cycle I think.

On on the plus side I ve managed to get myself back to the gym and out for walks so all in all I'm going in the right direction. This is the time I don t settle and I'm going for The ten and a half mark so Jen reduction back in ernest

off to bed and a solid step 3 day ( about 900 cals but seeing as i ve been managing to help myself to extra s over the last week think the body will cope). its so much easier when your back in the old routine, 3 days of my 10 day challenge done and dusted
 
woke up early this morning and have the grumble tum already its obs going to be a hungry day today so will just have to suck it up. the scales this morning were 1013, still on the going round in circles, just have to keep going and im sure i ll get some traction soon. think cofffee is in order kick start the day and jen mental note to self there is to be no cheating lets get a good week in and see if operation xmas excess is sucessful

My tummy is like a tumble dryer, I love the side effects as it shows the plan is working and getting back into Ketosis !

have managed a successful day, thinkin an early night is in order. pleased i have kept on it as hungry days are all part of the mix and in a perverse way its empowering to ingore it, so if the body is needin something extra it can help its self to my xmas supply. wonder which part of the loop i ll be in tomorrow. day 4 done it ll be so much easier once i ve completed a good bit of time on track and the mind greed has quit its yibber yabberin! lookin forward to my body going back to asking for what it needs rather than what it want.

had another small victory at work there is all manor of goodies there and although i circled the boxes nothing was removed:)

so 5 days down, had a txt from a friend who s desparate to go out tom wasn t really planning on heading out but ive been there dying to go out and nobody s avail so will head out with her. have 400 cals to spare as haven t eaten the 1000 the last few days so that at least is the vodka covered:)

the scales came in at 10 10 and a half this morn so 2 in a row, not going to get ahead of myself but it is the first break out of my 3 pound cycle. may go up again after night out but i now know im back to losing again so not as worried as before. will have to restart the 10day challenge but may not be a bad thing. i might even get back to pre xmas weight a week or so early which would be magic (remember baby steps jen one block at a time) well busy at work and it makes dieting life so much easier

my friend has come down with a bug and cancelled tonight. so day 6 another step 3 in the bag! this morning i was back at per xmas weight thinkin this can t be right and will wait til monday to get confirmation or the correct one but no matter what im going in the right direction can t tell you how excited i am the get within sniffin distance of this. once at 10.7 its a case of workin back to maintance excitin times

I hope your friend is ok but if I were you I old be feeling quite pleased about getting out of going out . . . . Especially after the scales boost this morning.

(or maybe just so determined to keep on going). 10.7 is seeming like an achievable goal now. once im there still going to step up slowly there may be a few more pounds off but that isn t really what im after. once i ve completed all the steps my first goal is to stay 10.7 for a month and so on. i know my diary isn t really that useful to the ssers but i intend to keep comin on and plotting my journey as this time its all about the maintance and not lettin a pound here or there multiply

I agree I think you were happy to get the slap off as inside you know it's almost a step closer to your goal by not going out and 10.7 is within your grasp. We all know the last few lbs are the most stubborn but we all know you will get there and we are rooting for you.
I love catching up with you, flick and others who are at goal or very close to goal as its a insight into the last few stages before we all get there so please please please keep posting. Although I'm still on SS and will be for a good few months its great to read and I do genuinely get excited for everyone getting closer to their goal and as I went off the rails last time I'm loving reading people going up the steps . . . . Little steps 1st so I fully agree doing it over a longer period of time, I know that's what I aim to do.

weigh in this morn and 5 and 3/4 lbs off!! delighted to say the least. that is the xmas weigh done and a 1/4 pound to spare so almost at goal. plan this week is another step 3 week not expectin much weight loss but a sts or ideally to hit 10.7 on the nose woop woop etc etc. step 4 next week for 2 or 3 weeks weigh in dependant and then quite a few on step 5. need to work out what im body needs to maintain rather than lose and we say no to gaining:) bring it on
