Tipperary wobbles into 2024

Hi Tipp, sounds like you have been crazy busy! Tapas picture looks amazing, hope your week is going well :)

I'm not sure, I am think it's the speed of the frying that keeps the integrity of the flower in tact. Baking could work but I imagine the cheese ooze out and the flower collapse

Anyway, food not too bad yesterday butbi.had a long busy day so ate what my son had cooked, meatballs and pasta. 3 small meatballs and only about 10 pasta twists at 7pm. Out and back home at 9:30pm and had one small scone from cookery class, this one did have sugar and I could definitely feel me buzzing in bed. Any sugar at all is doing that to me now, which is good as it really is putting me off sugar. Also that amount of carbs in the evening is sitting heavy inside me at night and growling.

Was about to go off and fill in my diary but I reckon today is baby day so saving my battery, talk later.

Oh yes good point. plus knowing me and my hit and miss cooking skills, i'd only make a mess :).

Enjoy the baby day.

All are well, came home yesterday and already all out for a walk this morning.

Ah Tippy, congratulations..two gorgeous grandsons 💜Dream big little Theo and may all your wishes come true..and enjoy being a big brother Oscar X

So understandably had a busy week. Food all over the place, lots of sandwiches and snack foods. Also was trying to build up hours at work each evening to make up for time I missed.
So trying to get back on track this week. Cookery classes are finished so not stuck to a particular time to finish this week. So plan is two long days at work to allow for two short days at work so I can go swimming or cycling.I made some cereal bars but managed to completely burn half of them. And I haven't done any shopping and have nothing ready for lunch today.
Just started my morning with a porridge smoothie and will see how it goes from here.

Ahh Tipp just seeing this, congratulations to you all. How gorgeous :):)

Watching BBC2 Nadiya's family favourites. She's making deep.fried carrot cake aka carrot cake pakoras....I need to watch something else I think

Oh gosh I love her, her food always looks amazing. I hope you have a had a good day tipp :)

Thanks, yes day has been OK. I stopped on the way to work and bought a salad to take with me...rocket, rice salad, veg salad and ham. I had it with crackers and chick pea . i dip.
Lunches sorted for the week, I've made sweetcorn, cucumber and tomato salsa. And I've made broad bean, kale and potato curry too, lots of it so some in the freezer. I've two lots of crackers bough, cracotte type ones that are 20 cals each and ryvita seed and oat ones at about 40 cals each. I like to have a variety in my lunch box.
I've bought some skinny sausages on sale and some flat wraps, planning something brunchy with them.
I'm having a tumeric latte now, bought it in health food shop...not 100% convinced by it. Its turmeric, coconut, cinnamon, cardamon and nutmeg. I think it needs a teeny bit more cinnamon and it still has a gritty tumeric taste and feel, and I can't get over the fact I think it should be dinner rather than a drink.
It would make a very good winter warmer though. Has anyone else tried one?

I'm going to be a bit less active for a period. Had an accident on my motorcycle on Fri 27th. So having a period of recovery. Little bit busted up but otherwise fine. So might not post anything at all exercise wise for the coming month. I've no recollection of the whole day. That's why I have not posted anything over the few days.

Food sounds good Tipp, I'm not sure about the turmeric latte - my friend told me it was like a cross between a soup and a coffee which put me right off. Will defo check out the exercise challenge thread thanks for posting.

@Chubby Ghost so sorry to hear about your accident, wishing you a speedy recovery :)

Dilemma, at break and was eating a grape. Half a grape missed my mouth and fell down the front of my blouse. Sitting with some male colleagues, one did see and one didn't. What do I do?
Hoping my bra caught it and I can stand up and walk away and retrieve it in bathroom but would be mortified if it fell out as I stand. If I was at home I'd just fish it out but don't think thats appropriate right now.
