The prob with mfp is one I don't weigh anything so it's all guess work! Two it means I forget all the sw rules!!!

You are doing great on your weight loss, how long has it took you to loose all that weight.

Have you always followed SW with the xenical?

I'm a long termer on here :) lol. Be here til I die :). So far it's taken 2 1/2 years :( I've only been on xen since may though. I used just xen for the first 5 weeks or so then went back to sw after that. I'm sort of following both as I know sw works but I think I lost more initially by using xen with mfp just calorie counting and fat watching . However I can't get out of the sw habit. It's suits me and the way I live even if it is s but slower due to eating my syns :)

Aw Kat I'm a long term member too! It'll be 2yrs this may! Xen only since this June! But you know what even if I'm here till I die I will never go back to my start weight!

And I'm the lightest I've been in nearly 5yrs. And if I wasnt still doing this I'm sure I'd be over 20st now! So im thankful im still here with you!

It's strange on here. People come and go with the odd diehard like us :)

Well tonight I faced a demon I was going to give a miss.

I didn't get to sw last week and after my 'eat what I want week cos I really don't give a stuff!!' I very nearly didn't go . At the last minute I put my leggings on - well didn't want to add to the injury with jeans. And walked out of the door before I could change my mind.

I'm glad I did because although it couldn't get much worse with a 2 1/2 lb gain I feel lighter because I faced it. :)

I knew that if I didn't go I would keep putting it off until Christmas and I didn't want that. I feel depressed enough with my situation without adding guilt to it.

So - here's to a good week

Aw good for you!! Sometimes you do just have to swallow the bullet! And like you said that's an accomplishment in itself so be pleased and congratulate yourself on that you can rectify it this week!!

I remember I once didn't go for a month - had shifts and decided I wasn't gonna bother at all my c texted asking me to come back and I did with a 2.5lbs gain! But even though I had that gain I'm now minus stones bc I went back!!

Delaying only makes it harder and new difficult!

So pat yourself on the back!! Well done! And here's to a new week!!

(also to make you feel better I weighed a lady who put on 12lbs in a week!) shed been to a wedding over the wke! But 12lbs in 7days! So 2.5lbs is Forgivable!! Xxx
 
Well done Kat. I used to miss a week if I'd been bad thinking i would have a good week to make up for it and it never worked.
 
Thanks. I feel determined today. Finished my blow out last night and have started thus morning with 2 weetabix and hot milk (the only cereal I really eat apart from prridge)
I feel kind of annoyed though as I wanted to reach 14 stone by Christmas and due to this stupid illness and resulting depression I'm a stone away now :(

But why not change that target maybe to 14st and a single digit lb (ie below 10!) or to just loose every week between now and xmas?!

It's Ok to reevaluate our goals and tweak them - if we didn't fight through the tough where would we be?! Xxx
 
That is a great idea Kirsty. Kat, you have done so well, look at your amazing weight loss up to now & tomorrow is another month xx
 
Tonight I'm adapting the Hugh F W. Recipe from Monday nights programme of stuffed squash. But made slimming world .

Small squash per person. Stuffed with leek mushroom quark and s little blue stilton.

Mm love stuffed squash.. Onion, peppers, chillies, eggplant sweated and then stuffed in squash.. Loads paprika :)
 
Ok so my motivation hasn't kicked in fully but I've definitely been better behaved on the food front.

The problem is my main meals are very healthy but I like to nibble on 'extras' you know the odd biscuit or cake here and there or chocolate from my skinny husband! Not lots but def more than I should. Anyway my head is becoming more focussed so I know I'll get there.

Don't know if your son is into those wrist bracelets, leather beaded things? Amazon has a range that's not too expensive.. Gift voucher/ card for music etc.. Or aftershave/ men's smelly stuff? I have 3 of my OH nephews to buy for 23, 19, and 18 they will all smell nice lol
 
Smellies are normally my fsilsafe option but he got so much last year that I can't buy any for at least 2 years.
He's just so difficult because he's very laid back, easy going. Obsessed by football and coaching
