If only it did :) lol :)

It's the juice master one that gives loads of recipes etc to lose weight in 7 days. Although I'm not following just that. I'm just going to introduce a couple of juices a day.

Fostering medical went ok yesterday. Quite in-depth. I was wearing jeans. Jumper and a thermal and was weighed at 3.30 when I normally get weighed in the morning on my Docs weigh in so I was a little apprehensive to say the least. But I'm happy to report I had lost a little even with the other things.
My doc was really pleased with my losses so far so I think I'm ok on xen for quite a while as long as it continues.
Although I think he wrote the wrong weight on the form he had to complete. On the computer he has ideal weight 67.4kg and actual weight 94.2kg and I think he wrote my ideal weight down :) I'm not complaining though I'll just have to work harder to get to that. Although I think 10 stone 5 is a long way off and I'm not sure I want to be there either . I'll just take it one day at a time.
It's our sw meal tonight cooked from the extra easy Christmas book but so far I'm not impressed with the amount of syns I'll be using on it. I know I can do it for less.

Glad it all went well honey! I am a bit like you for not knowing what I want to weigh, I want to be a size 16 & I know I was that when I was around 11st 11lbs so I have put that as my aim but may need to be less than that, we will see hey x

Well sw scales say 1lb loss which is fine. I was hoping for 1 1/2 but at least I'm going into Christmas week with a loss so it keeps me motivated not to put on weight over christmas.
Christmas this year is at the mother in laws so I'm not cooking or buying anything dodgy. But I dont get phone signal down there unless I stand in the middle of the road outside her house! Which is nit good for ongoing good health! :)
So I may disappear from the evening of 24th to the 27 th unless I can get on the Internet .

That's amazing!!

A loss the week before Xmas!! That's great going!! Wish I could say the same but doesn't work out like that !! :( xx

I think I've just had an epiphany ! :(

Last night I sat in bed looking at my weight loss and where I had the biggest losses. It was back in July /august.

This morning I've looked at mfp diary to
See if there was any correlation between the two. Unfortunately there wasn't but for some reason all I could see were the snacks! I eat more biscuits etc than I should, even allowing for syns on sw .

So my mission this Christmas is to cut down on them, I'm still going to have them as I believe we need to eat 'in the real world' anyway but make sure I eat less and hope that my losses increase again.

That's exactly my trouble snacks!! And I guess that's what sw tries to eliminate!

Trouble is it's hard you don't always want a full meal - I've found a yummy snack I'm crazy about ATM - fresh mango and ff Greek yoghurt!! If you wanna make it more naught add a meringue nest 2.5syns!! Xx

I've no problem with portion sizes. I've been working this down for a few years. I've got a good guide that did post a while ago but I'll put it on again . It's s good one. Easier to visualise . Also that book I've just bought with pictures is brilliant

Mmm I have same issue portion size.. But am getting better at it! I weigh most things which helps!

Ok portion sizes with easy to visualise items

Meat / poultry or fish - deck of cards

Rice or pasta - tennis ball

Nuts and seeds - golf ball

Veg or salad - computer mouse

Cheese - small matchbox

Butter - dice

A healthy meal should be made up if half veg, a quarter protein and a quarter of starchy foods such as rice or pasta .

Hope you find this useful

I've just eaten one of my favourite soups for lunch and thought I'd share it with you.

Butternut squash and bacon

1 butternut squash
1 large onion
3 slices smokey bacon
Pepper and salt

Cut the butternut squash in half and place face down on a baking tray.

Chop the onion and put on the tray

Bake until soft in the oven

Scrape out the squash from the skin And put into a pan along with the onion, stock cube and enough water to cover them

Bring to the boil

Whilst boiling chop the bacon small and quickly dry fry it.

Blitz the soup smooth then add the bacon bits

Enjoy, it's yummy. Roasting first brings out the natural sweetness of the squash and onion and the smokey bacon adds delish flavour

Lots of pepper to season
