Still not firing on all cylinders I'm now having to go dairy free. Ah well if it works I don't mind Although ill probably get tea withdrawals. I've been trying a few alternative milks and so far Oaty milk is the best substitute. I've always hated soya milk from when my kids were babies and they had to have it. So I'm not even going there. As if I've not got enough to do without sorting out another element to my diet
Official weigh in is 13:8.5 so more than yesterday but less than last week. Chipping away at my illness gain. I stillwant 13:0 for Christmas.
I've booked my gym induction for next Friday. I have to be careful and take it easy but ill know when to stop.
I made a decision. I've been looking for years at the women to women cycle rides abroad for cancer and always wished I could do them. This year I discovered that now is lost so much weight I could ride a bike without stress on my knee. So I've decided that I'm going to try and get fitter in 2013 and do the pink ribbon bike ride which is only 26 miles and if that goes ok see about signing up for a mega bike ride in 2014. So it's a long term goal that may or may not be achievable but if it is I may come begging for sponsorship ladies
you will be there by christmas, stay focused and you will get there.
The bike riding is a great idea, i am hoping to take up bike riding again, my hubby might be getting me one for my birthday next month. Its a great way to get fit.
thats what I was thinking. Losing weight for me is great but now I need to try and firm up and get a bit fitter. This last year Ive been able to walk further than I have for a long time and I discovered I could still ride a bike. thanks to the electric bike scheme at our surgery. but after christmas Im going to look to getting a normal bike of my own. So hoepfully the gym will help me improve on just being able to ride around the village. Although I would love to think that my knee and joints would be able to cope with a long cycle in Thailand or something I think thats a pipe dream but I dont think the UK cycle marathon is totally out of the question. google Whizz-Kidz Cycletta - women only challenges. The 2013 one isnt out yet but if you register for details theyll send them when theyre out. It would be great to aim for this with someone. Hint hint
now thailand would be an experience its been years since i have been on a bike, i wonder if i can still do it haha!! My youngest has just learnt to ride her bike a few weeks ago so it would be great if we could all go together.
I agree. Google the women to women cycle rides. They're the one Fern Britton does . You generally have to raise about £3000 sponsorship to cover expenses as we'll still its a nice dream
It's a great family activity though
It is isn't it. That's why it may have to stay a dream bc although I love the idea I don't like asking people at the minute who I know have little enough as it is.
I've taken the plunge and I've joined the gym I aim to go Monday and Friday but will have a few weeks where I will need to change the days but overall those days should work.
Now I just need to motivate myself but I'm hoping my cycling goal will do that
I made energy balls instead. Supposed to be very good for that energy boost after the gym. If you like dried fruit it's like eating Christmas cake without the alcohol.
Blitz everything together (except sesame seeds) in a mixer then using a small teaspoon roll into balls. Roll the balls in the sesame seeds. Chill to firm up. You definately only need one though, they are sweet and really hit the spot
I made 21 from my mixture. 66.2cals each and 2.6 g fat per ball.
