TooFatKats diary of desperation ..(and hope)

Just made stuffed mushrooms - 105 cals per serving and 3.5g of fat per serving.

6 large flat mushrooms such as portabello. Peel them and take out the stalk.

1 tub of extra light Philadelphia or quark if you're feeling really saintly.

1/2 onion
1/2 red pepper
Basil
Pepper

Also nice with ham

Mix the Philly with the chopped onion, pepper and seasonings.

Divide between the mushrooms and cook in the oven for about 30 mins.

I cook them on the grill pan in the oven so the liquid from the mushrooms drains out as they cook.

Very yummy with rocket salad

They sound gorgeous!...not sure about the Philly though, I love the stuff, but not so much in hot meals, sounds lovely though!.. I'll go and eat my chocolate and orange meal bar ;)

Oh I was a bad girl last might :( :(

Yesterday I went to a village fair . I resisted everything but at the last minute we decided to buy some fudge . :(

I didn't intend to eat it. But it sat in the fridge at home and i tried a bit :( it was so creamy and just melted in the mouth.,,,

But I didn't stop at the bit over the evening I kept going back to the fridge for more. hubby wasn't in to stop me and I finished it! :(
I feel so guilty

Aww hun, we're all done it! Heck I've even bought a box of Milk Tray for a present, unwarapped them and ate the lot lol!

The guilt after...and wishing you hadn't not so nice, but what's done is done, draw a line under it and start again :)

<img src="http://www.myemoticons.com/images/hobbies-leisure/games/hula-hoop-2.gif" border="0" alt="Hula Hoop 2" title="Hula Hoop 2" />

I think I've found my exercise activity. :bliss::bliss:
My daughter has gone on holiday and I sneaked into her bedroom to pinch her hula hoop.
She has one of those special fat ones with 3 rows of blobs on the inside. I remember when we bought it for her she had a fortnight with bruises all around her waist from these blobs - they look and feel like football studs :( and hurt just as much.
While Ive got the opportunity Im going to use it as theres obviously no impact on my knees but hopefully I'll get a toned waist again. :p
Can't imagine I'll ever be able to hula like her as she spends hours doing it while shes watching tv and it just goes round and round without dropping. I'll be glad when I can do it for 10 minutes.

I love hula hoops, so much fun! What's your daughters hoop?

I've just had to search for it as i cant remember what it was or where i bought it. But i found it on amazon .
She's had it a couple of years now. It's a 3G hoop. A level 2 Anion massage/fitness hoop.
I was just reading what it said on amazon and you can burn 300 calories in 10 mins
So I'm def going to carry on

I'm rubbish with a hula hoop, wish i could do it. My 8 year old son is a whizz with one, puts me to shame. Maybe i should give it a go just for the laughs lol!!!

Well today we are going up to brimham rocks near ripon. Great place . We're taking my son and his girlfriend for a walk and a picnic. Can you imagine it she has NEVER had a picnic.!! How can you get to 18 and not even had a sarnie at the beach that crunches when you get sand in it even though you are really careful.?
Ah well today her education begins-hopefully without the crunch though :)
