Ooh, I've had the date through for my knee replacement - Thursday 13th November, which is 8 weeks tomorrow. I'm pretty terrified by the prospect, but I know it needs doing! Look after your knees, everyone!! :) xx
 
That's good news :) now you just need to mentally prepare yourself.

The usual, lol - excess weight causing osteoarthritis. I have it in both knees and can barely walk now - have to use a wheelchair if I go out anywhere, which is a pain! So I'm very keen to get new knees, I just don't really want to go through the process of getting them!! :) xx

Thank you hon! :) I must admit it would be nice to be able to get around better - sometimes I dream I can walk again, so it obviously plays on my mind, lol. :) xx

Haha, he is a real sweetie, but my nephew and niece-in-law would definitely put up a fight for him! They've also got a nine month old bulldog named Alfred, so they've got their hands full. My daughter is besotted with them, lol. :)

I will definitely fight all urges to cancel the op! I've phoned the hospital to confirm this morning, so that's a good start!! :) xx
 
Awww Queenie! You're looking such a skinny mcminny! :) And Mr Pups is GORGEOUS! I miss having puppies - but they're such a handful - in a good way ;) ... most of the time!! :)


Exciting knee news! :) That's not long at all , we can keep building your courage up for you :) It'll be a new lease of life in no time! :)

Thank you, Kym! :) I'll definitely need my courage building up, as I'm already getting seriously panicked, especially at the thought that they may not give me a general anaesthetic. Very scared!! :) xx
