Extra Easy Days Trefoil's Trip To Target!

Oh Honey. RUN FOR THE HILLS!. What theyre doing is so illegal and immoral on SO many levels. I would get out as soon as you possibly can. Theyre using your youth and lack of "life experience" (meaning you havent had enough time to come across people quite as dodgy as that yet...until now!) to their advantage and trying to guilt/scare you into staying and doing as they wish. Shocking! I know, because Ive had similar experience with older employers taking the mick because I was young and a bit naive. Its really crap. Im only 37 my self but Ive learned tobe cautious.... not be cynical but just wary and to not take everything at face value. And always lookout for yourself and what you (and OH) need first and foremost - which is a stable, secure, non-dodgy income! lol. xx

The best thing you can do is to read up on your rights as an employee. Definitely. And better yet...leave as SOON as you can.

I really really hope you get good news about that job. Please let us know. xx

Thank you so much for the advice, it really is appreciated.
I have had a talk with my parents and OH and I am going to get out as soon as I can.
In regards to the email, I had two emails with a company a couple of weeks ago, and they think I'm too good for the jobs they advertised for so would like to see me on 11th May for something more senior! I am super pleased, the pay is excellent and the benefits etc are also wonderful including the healthcare side which will look after my partner Dan!

The other lady that works with me is quite vulnerable, she is a lot older than me but I look after her quite a bit and she is heavily medicated and I know she is too frightened to leave of her own accord which is such a shame.
They're just all total crooks and fraudsters really. I can't even believe I asked for the advice!

I suppose I just needed to see it all out in front of me.

Thanks once again, looking forward to the next couple of weeks and finally getting some closure...

Looks tasty. I've never thought about adding yogurt to pasta. Do you add it last so it doesn't cook for long?

Hello! Thanks very much :)
It actually went into a casserole dish and went in the oven for half an hour!
It went into the dish originally to coat the onions and garlic alongside the chilli flakes and because the Fage yogurt we use is so thick and strained, it was fine and didn't come out horrid, so it basically just baked in the oven. It was very nice indeed!
I used to add yogurt to pasta all of the time, my favourite was bacon, mushroom and olive pasta. Fry the bacon (fat removed) in fry light, add the mushrooms, cook the pasta, add the olives, drain the pasta. Put the pasta back in the pan, add the olives/bacon/mushrooms (I also put capers in and garlic and I chilli as I love them) to the pasta and mix. Take off the heat for about 2 minutes. Then put the Greek yogurt in and mix through so it's coated and eat.
Oh goodness me, that got me through a few hard times when I craved everything under the sun. Yummy!!! I used to have it with salad!

Right, so I have just had my first test...

I ended up in the pub with my parents where I was exceptionally behaved and had 2 single (25ml) gin and slimline tonics which I made me last for ages.
Then I got dragged to prezzo...
And I ordered this! I spoke to the poor waitress for about 10 minutes. Their chicken is chargrilled on an open flame with no oil! So I had this... (calabrese- the "sausage" was also like thin ham or bacon?)
Absolutely lovely! Now to try and syn it....

90 calories in 4 slices of Calabrese stuff (I barely noticed it to be honest but better safe than sorry!) the rest of the stuff was totally fresh and beautiful, I had the side salad undressed and I have thrown my HEB in there for good measure. I have also looked up pomodoro sauce and the only thing I can see that's bad is possible teaspoons of sugar, so I'm going to throw the rest of my Syns in to it. It's a shame really, I did look in the restaurant at my app but it only brought up pizzas!

Oops I forgot to put my main diary bit up yesterday.

Breakfast
1/2 grapefruit
Coffee with 1% milk HEA Allowance
Strawberry Mullerlight

Lunch
Left over Spinach, chicken and tomato pasta from the day before with extra spinach and mixed leaves
2x green tea and 2x black coffee

Dinner
2x Gordon's Gin & Slimline Tonics (25ml singles) (5)
Mixed undressed fresh salad
Calabrese Chicken with red onion, spinach, pomodoro sauce, peppers, Rosemary, cherry tomatoes and roquito pearls (10)- I haven't a clue so I'm going to use the rest of them. As I put above, everything was fresh and there was no oil on the chicken, it was cooked and chargrilled directly on an open stove. Just to cover myself!

Well 3/3... Pub lunch today. This one frightens me the most.
We are off to Leeds with my in laws to see them and have lunch at my Father in laws friend's pub and have lunch. I hope there's something suitable!
Will report back later (I am also off to the gym later for a bit of damage control...)

If the pub has a website, look at the menu before you go. That's what I do and you can prepare yourself on what to order.have fun

Thanks very much! They didn't have a website however I did have salmon with a jacket potato, cabbage, carrot, green beans with 1 sachet of light mayo and 2 diet cokes. Very nice indeed!

Thanks for the advice!

Had a wonderful day today!

Had my lunch alongside a nice walk around Leeds drinking lots of Diet Coke! Then home for 7:30 followed by a leek and egg frittata with tomatoes and mushrooms followed by frozen mixed fruit and a tsp of honey to finish.

Day off tomorrow. OH is at work. Pottering around and then gym in the afternoon before weigh in at 17:30! I know that I have definitely made very different and good choices this weekend and that I am adapting my life and doing well. Long may it continue! I can't stand going out normally though...

I had that glass of red wine yesterday (which I chose because I have always loved the house red at that restaurant) and I have felt foggy headed all day. I am not really supposed to drink alcohol on my tablets, but can cope with the odd gin like Friday however I learnt my lesson yesterday. My eyes still hurt a bit and I feel totally dehydrated even though I have also drank in excess of 4 pints of water.

Just been out for coffee with my parents as OH is at work. They remarked at how well I looked which is nice!
Nipped into Tk Maxx and got some dresses in the sale! Need to work on reducing the size of my back which is a 43 (crumbs!) so thinking of some exercises which can help me as I have a few dresses where I am an inch off getting the Zips to fasten, but only on the bra area, everywhere else is fine, so have kept them and I am very pleased (they're a standard UK 16).
Just having some boiled eggs alongside some fruit and yogurt and some lovely tea that my OH bought me as a treat. Then I'm going to relax for a bit before heading off to the gym at about 3:30/4 before weigh in.
Looking for a maintain with any hope!
My mum is also going to lend me her bread maker and I am going to make some Sodabread, which I will then put garlic onto and freeze for those instances where I would love some garlic bread! I was speaking to someone who was an artisan baker over the weekend and as Sodabread is left to prove for longer it doesn't cause many issues so hopefully I wouldn't have the bloating and lethargic feelings that I get from regular bread consumption. We will see...
