Twinkle's Journey

Hey Twinkle, I'm only now catching up with diaries and just been reading yours. I'm so sorry you've had a tough time, my sister goes through it every year and although I cannot relate not being a mother, I see how much strength it takes to cope. My little niece has a place in all our lives, she is talked about and visited and laughs with us at family gatherings. And although it's so painful, it's also a little treasure in a way.

But look at you doing so well! You probably needed your time off, it's strange how going off plan can actually strengthen your resolve to get back on the horse and carry on with Exante. I'm really going to try and follow your lead Twinkle, you've been so amazing. So as you go along, from strength to strength, losing weight, you might see me in the distance following along when you turn around :)

Lovely post, thank you Bee. My little Jamie is very much a part of the family despite not being here. It's just a shame that so many of us share this grief in one way or another :-(

For some reason I seem to cope better with diets at this time of year. I don't know if it's because his Angelversary is firmly in my mind and he keeps me distracted or what xx

Morning Twinkle, it's great to read your post full of positivity and I'm glad you're feeling better now you're TS. I think your plan sounds great, just do the add a meal week every few weeks if you feel you need it.

Good luck with the packing today :)

Good for you Twinkle.

Well done getting back on and doing so well Twinkle! Have a good day xx

Currently having a porridge, not because I'm feeling empty but because I keep getting very light headed. I've had these light-headed spells since I first started snd I sometimes wonder if I'm too active for a vlcd. My days are usually 17-18 hrs long and that's pretty much every day. I barwly sit down throughout the day and only sit down when I'm driving at work. The rest of the time I'm on my feet doing housework, cooking, sorting my children out and running to and fro customers houses at work. Does anyone else think I could be doing too much on so few calories? And does anyone else with an active lifestyle get spells of light-headiness?xx

I've been going to gym before work so getting up 5.30 am and work full time. I work with 30 4-5 year olds so kept busy at work too. My job involves long hours too. i guess i burn a lot but never really feel light headed. Have felt dizzy just a handful of times.

I never feel it when I really, really beast myself at the gym. Tired... Yes. Lightheaded... No.

Keep an eye on that Twinkle :) x

I was wondering about you TH as I know you have a busy life too. It has been since I started and not really eased up at all except for food week, that wasn't bad at all xx

I get quite light headed sometimes too. I did an expo last week and was on my feet all day. I thought I was going to pass out, I posted about it in my diary. I had a green tea and felt much better after - maybe it was the caffeine boost so could be to do with being active?

Hope you feel better soon x

Well done on getting through another day twinkle x

Subscribing :)

I've still got a bit of a headache, keeps coming and going, been like it since Sunday but technically this is wk 1 again, so not surprised. The light headedness starts un the afternoons usually, so I think I might start having my first pack earlier to see if it helps.

Wedding is 16th August. I can't believe it's less than 6 months away now! We started planning it 14 months ago and I remember thinking 20 months is a long time to enjoy the planning lol :) xx

Awe that's a fab date twinkle :)

Might be good idea to have a pack earlier like u said. Do u have bouillon? That might help give u a wee lift in between sachets.

Have a nice day honeybun :) x

Day 4! I was 100% again yesterday and pleased to be half way through the week now. I am really itching to stand on the scales to see if I've hit the 11's but I will stay away until Sunday. I just can't pack them knowing how close I am to the 11's :-/

I feel like I'm back on the weight loss journey and feeling slimmer again. All the time I feel like this, it makes this journey so much easier. The guys at work have been full of lovely comments over the last 2 days and got me to take my coat off again the night before last and they can't believe the difference. They are quite supportive now and don't take the mickey when I make my packs in the shop and tbh it's made it alot easier now that they're not trying to get me to eat.

I haven't checked to see if I'm back in ketosis yet but I know if I'm not already, then I should be in the next day or so, so I'm not too worried about checking.

Due to the light headedness, I'm going to have my first pack earlier in the day to see if it helps. I'm also thinking of splitting my packs (never done that before) but maybe that will help too.

The plan for today is PACKING! Seriously, it seems like it's never ending. The pile in my dining room doesn't look like wks of packing either but it's the sorting through that is time consuming but I don't want to be in a mess when we move so totally worth it. The move should be in just 9 days. I'll be phoning today to see if we can have our date to sign, which should be next Thursday.

Hope you all have a good day and keep strong :) xx

Morning Twinkle, take a look at Mere's Diary, she had dizzy spells and low blood sugar, worth a read as I remember her talking about it last year.

Very best of luck I really hope you're in 11s! Glad to see you feeling good again and back on track :) xx
