Using Vanilla powder to white coffee

Hello fellow CDers,

Has anyone ever used a teaspoon of the Vanilla shake to whiten their coffee?, I read this as a tip on the official CD site and have got excited as I am missing my hot drinks and really cannot do mint teabags.
Also I know many of you do have your shakes hot and wonder if that is what I shouls do, though I do like to add the crused ice to them as it makes them seem more filling and last longer. Also cannot stand the low cal hot choc drinks on the market and dont want to waste a meal if they end up tasting like that.

I have a vanilla shake with coffee every morning for breakfast - I sometimes only use half a pack and have the other half later in the day - you do need to whizz it a while or it is lumpy - it does have the same sweet taste as the shakes do (it is one so I would!!) worth a try I guess - I use about two thirds of a litre and a teaspoon of coffee)

Yes boil the kettle, leave it for a minute or two to cool down (aparently it destroys the nutrients if it is too hot) put in your powder and coffee pour on the water and whizz -

I've tried all bar the strawberry shake hot & I have to say they are really nice!! The chocolate one ends up tasting like very throthy/creamy hot chocolate - I would reccommend it. Also you can use sweetners - the tablet format not powder/sugar if you don't think they are sweet enough.

I'm not keen on anything vanilla apart from ice cream but my CDC suggested putting coffee in and I tried it this morning and it was really nice. Like creamy coffee

My fave ones to have hot are Toffee and walnut, banana, choc mint, butterscotch and choc, I always use the hand blender then they go really frothy and creamy yuuuuuummmmmmmmmmy.lol.

I'm sitting here drinking a hot toffee & walnut shake - I let the kettle boil and leave it a good few minutes so it is hot, but not hot and wont scorch the vits. It feels really naughty too, don't me why but it does feel super indulgent to have them hot.

Hello guys,
Encouraged by your comments I had my vanilla shake hot and it was heaven. I lay in bed watching Eastenders drinking it and I almost forgot I was on a diet ! I also used 2 teaspoons to whiten my coffee and that was delicious. So thanks for all the tips am definately a HOTTIE ! now lol.
