Have a feelin the scales aren't going to move Thursday. Feel like ive eaten too many calories :/ well Thursday I'll know whether to lower them.

On me way to work now. Going to be a long day. I'm sure it dragged yesterday, probs because it waa the first day back lol.

Trust the science behind the deficit you're creating.

And don't lower your calories too soon, it can take a couple of weeks to show up. I usually maintain (or gain) for a few weeks and then lose loads of weight. So give it 2 if not 3 weeks before you change it up.

I feel like some days I cant eat 1800 but some days I can eat more than that lol. My tdee 2051 something like that so I thought 1800..which is like 250 less.

What would you do if yours was that? It's well confusing lol. Like I feel as though cutting down 250 cals a day isnt much.

On my first bus to work...been up since 5 and I am absolutely shattered. I might consider trying to wat before I leave if I can. They say it helps ya metabolism or something.

I do well at work with my food but then by the time I get home im starvin and then mother in law cooks etc so then im all over tbe place with cals lol. Decided to tell her not to do me anything so I can track properly.

Feel so sick :( defo need to try eat before I leave might help ay

Get weighed tomorrow..not feeling it to be fair. Depending on what it say I think I'm going go with 1600 cals a day and that's it lol
 
I went to see Vila vs Blackpool and we won lol very rare occurrence lately, and we left the match early and missed the goal! Typical. It was so cold too like my poor lil toes were blue lol.

I try not to put too much pressure on myself because I do sometimes get like f it let me stuff my face lol. But I'd like to have a little strictness too dunno how I'd do it tho.

When we lived in Nottingham and had season tickets at Forest my OH used to say to me - go to the toilet then they will score as it was a regular thing - I went to the toilet about 10 mins before half time so I did not have to wait for half time to have a wee and they did score.
 
No more drawing lines under it - honestly - that is what I used to do when I weighed 15 and a half stone and could not be bothered. I can show you the pics - you have to make up your mind if you want to do it or not and stick to it.
I know it is very hard to start with but if you want to do it you have to plan and plan and plan again. I am not being harsh I am being truthful - I will help you all I can as I want you to do it as I did. Lots of people here say - it will be ok tomorrow hun etc etc - I hate those kind of replies as they are not good for you.
I am no Mother Theresa but really want you to do this for yourself and your health - I feel so so much better now that I have done it.

We live in Spain part of the year and the first day we lived at the coast ( many years ago) I broke my ankle (long story) - had it fixed and had the cast off - 3 weeks later I had awful pain in my ankle so went to the local doctor with an interpreter and I did not understand what she was saying but understood by the way she was speaking it was not good - the interpreter said to me - you weigh 15 stone.5 lbs (in Kgs) and as you are so fat no wonder your ankle will not take your weight - go home and lose some weight then come back here and I will sort you out.
I went home and cried and cried but my hubby said to me - don't you think she is right - and I had to admit it she was right and so was my OH.

I have just had a big blib - had an accident which stopped my doing exercise for about a year and oh doing the cooking :eek: but now just sorted it out at 2lbs a week weight loss

Yeah ive gone to the loo during a match and I hear loads of cheering etc. I always guess whos winning like lol. I like going but its too cold sometimes.

Weight didnt shift by the looks of it this morning. I dont use digital scales as not a fan. But hard to see the pins on the others but all good though.

1600 cals from today!

Hi Vix, just wanted to pop in and say hello and wish you good luck with cal counting. It's what I'm using to slowly drop down through the stones (I was getting close to 19st at one time, unofficial)

I'm living in the land of HUGE portion sizes :eek: and was determined NOT to get bigger and bigger. ( Yo-yo dieter for years and years which is why I struggled so much!)

Anyway, keep cal counting and you WILL see results, I'm now on around 1200 to 1500 on my super good days ( only exercise I do is walking ) Cal counting, may be one of the slower ways to lose it, but it's worth it in the end. Also, as a strict Veggie it gives me more flexability than some weight loss programmes/ diets.

Thank so much for posting :) I'm like a yo yo dieter..and it's annoying because lose weight and then gain it lol can't win.

I've decided today I need to start being more sensible about it too lol x
 
Good luck with the 1600 limit, which is still sensible!
Like I said, give it more than a week. So many things can affect your weight on any given day from hormones to food babies, lack of sleep, stress, the amount of liquid you're drinking.
It all makes a difference and if you're looking for 1lb a week those things can really mask any loss.

Your right, i should have stuck to it for another week, on some days i think i was struggling to eat the 1800 and some days going over. I think at 1600 i might feel abit more better about it and going to try and stick to it too, see how the scales get on next week aha. I can't wait for it to start moving, i don't mind a 1-2 lbs a week, aslong as its every week :p

I keep forgetting to update my food on here as i do it on mfp. i also right it in my doodle diet diary too, its wicked!

Just thought I'd share a quick graph of my weight loss week by week since I started back, it spans roughly 60lbs. Just to highlight that you shouldn't expect a loss every week. Very, very few people are that consistent. As long as the general trend is down then thats all that matters.

Squiggly! :) As you say, the overall trend is a downwards one, and that's fantastic!! I like looking at the graphs on my weight tracker app, and they're pretty squiggly too, lol. :D xx

Im so imptatient I suppose. Think I'm finding it hard, my willpower is all over the place lol.
 
Morning :)

Well I have some good news..I weighed myself this morning even though it's not my weigh day I do like to keep an eye :)

And it looks as though I've gone down 3lbs, hard to see the needles but estimating at about 3/4 lbs..so good enough for me. We'll see if they stick like that for Thursday. :)

I'm not going to be strict today and might end up going over my cals, but I'm taking my mom out for a pub lunch today and don't want to be worrying about it all you know what I mean, just want to eat and enjoy being with my mom :)

Anyhows, have a fab saturday, I'm off to get ready and pick up my mom :)
 
Ive had a really nice day and enjoyed treating my mom to lunch.

Ive decided im going to have Saturday mornings as my weigh day from now on so ill change my weight from what it was this morning. I prefer that I think :)

Brought some of the little variety packs of cereal from asda today..love em :)
