I have lost friends as I have lost weight!!!!
Sadly they preferred the old me - you know the one who gave them all my time and all my worldly posessions to make "them" happy!
You enjoy the compliments and remember them Sonkie because soon these people may be jealous of you - I never dreamt anyone could possibly be jealous of me but sadly they have soon forgotten the misery I suffered as a morbidly obese person.
I have true friends from my past who are still around and lovely new friends - so I am not a Billy no-mates LOL

OMG I never thought of that ...it is so true that people get jealous as you lose weight....how sad are they ?

When i read the post back I thought how horrible it sounded - sorry -
but yes Sonya people do get jealous! My hubby treats me like a princess which hasn't helped!
I am so much more confident and on the upside I am now attracting "new" friends and from my LL counselling I am learning to let go of people who only show me negativity!
But being slim is wonderful and being with people who like me for who I am and not for what I give them is so fulfilling!
Sonya you are doing fantastic so keep moving forwards and enjoy the self control that you are experiencing!
[oh and Wayne will be well looked after in Sheffield - they are caring down to earth people - is he going into the Northern General?}

I had a wicked compliment today ...my friends dad didnt recognise me...he looked twice then said Gosh i didnt recognise you!!

Lap them up they just make you stronger and more determined!

Yes he now at the northern general, osborn 1 ward, he settled in ok too.

I have got my new top on, in the smaller size and one of the parents of the children I care for said "omg how much have you lost now," "you can so see it in that top"

Well that has made my day, I must ditch my other tops...as they dont do anything for me.
