I couldn't do it, I'm happy atm working for minimum wage :sigh: but from home so I don't need to dress for work!
I did initially want to be a teacher, changed my mind now!
Having this lot totally put me off, plus helping DD with her homework nearly comes to fisticuffs! Don't think I'd have the paitence to look after/teach someone elses kids lmao.

Have to get a proper job soon though, Owens growing up and when he's at school no reason why I can't finally start a career, i'll be what *thinks 33?? ish when he starts most people have done the career and settled down to have kids, I'm going to do it the other way round!

What is it that you do at home? I'm only on minimum wage myself, and only work part time unfortunately. I'm desperate for more hours but just haven't got them at the moment.

It is a hard job, but it's rewarding. I've only ever wanted to work with kids... don't know what I'd do otherwise.

But I love it been doing in 4 years this year, fits in around the ratbags. So flexible for hozzie appointments/school assemblies etc.

My ex mil worked at a nursery, :( closed down not long before xmas so she was made redundant. She's been doing that for 30odd years, doesnt know what to do now :(
Feel so sorry for her, she's so proud and hates being on jsa but at nearly 60, and only know about kids, there isnt much out there for her.
Hope u get some more hrs are the years go on, its so hard when there isnt enough hrs to go round (whole reason I do alot of then nights/mornings) so I may be sleep deprived but I can pay the rent!

Today we has scotch eggs a cooking
Weighed out 2xheb of whomeal bread
used morrisons cumberland sausages - list i got atm without searching says half a syn, but i'll do a check see if they've gone up in a sec
but if i have 3/6 thats 1.5 syns!!!!! and a heb
considered scanbran as a coating but didnt really fancy it today.
HURRY UP OVEN AND COOK EM!!

t - salad of.... naked coleslaw (carrots 2xcabbage/onion) gerkhins, pickled onion and non pickled beetroot
with
1heB bread roll -
2heB wedges
1heA babybel lightx2
2heA 2 low fat cheese slice

meal wass - home made burgers with babybel in the middle so it went all melty and nice.
Didnt have any extra lean mince so used lean,
Beef, mince, less than 12% fat, 100g raw so thats 5 syns on mince :eek: but - then again, i dont use many syns tbf
so - 5syns beef
- 3 syns weetabix bar
- dollop of red sauce= 2syns
2tble spns hellmans extralight mayo = 1

ooo 11syns go me! *is impressed! lol

also had a couple of yog's
apple, satsuma, banana throughout the evening too.

1 bit of toblerone, and 3 jaffa cakes.
U know what, didnt really enjoy them much either :eek:
Still gonna be within Syns for the week so not bothered about that.
But i'd normally want either a) whole toblerone, b) whole pack of jaffas.
Now i just feel a bit icky.
Ah well whats done is done, now I know I can leave choc and the almighty Jaffas alone!
 
Think I may make some deviled eggs today using either cottage cheese or quark

filling of egg yolks,quark, cottage cheese, vlf mayo(1syn 2tbl spn), spring onions, white wine vinegar, mustard powder, salt garlic powder anddd sprinkled with paprika

Got up around 12.30
Made the eggs, snaffled one, went back to bed.
Got up at 7.30pm...
So as u can gather, todays not gonna be a standard 3 meal day! rofl

Basically had a huge tea
2slices ww whom (heB) + 2 rf cheese slicey (heA)
2 ww sausages
bacon
tinned chopped toms
friedish/poachedish eggs
anddd onion/mushroom cooked in a bit of stock so all nice and juicy.

I'm well impressed with myself still though.
2yr olds new word - coookieeessss (jaffa cakes)
He's now taken the role of the jaffa cake monster.
I'm not even fussed, I think I've cracked the habit of eating norties.

Tbf - I nearly thought f*** it before and nearly suggested take away - ONLY because the big 3 come home from the ex's

He's cut the 8yr olds hair with a fringe that starts at the back of the head. I felt anger, and lots of it!
Instead got outta the house, went to Asda and got a big whopping bit of pork for tomorrows dinner, gonna stick it inthe slow cooker before bed tonight.
 
Well done! You sound like your doing really well! And youve had fantastic weight losses so obviously your doing it right. I started the week before you and im still getting my head around it! I struggle the most with finding something to snack on inbetween meals when a piece of fruit just wont do it!

I'm a serial picker, hence the experimenting most days.
Found so far best to pick at -
Whopping pot of soup (lasts a day or so in this house)
Curry loaf
Mini quiches
and....
pickled onions/gerkhin/beetroot, in a bowl so can just grab and munch, dunno why but I really enjoy it!

Today OMG the pork smells gorgeous!
So probably gonna have that lunchtime and a smaller meal for tea caus it smells too gooood!

Been up officially an hr, not hungry yet.
Unofficially, been awake since 6 - little mr coookieeeee monster had got himself stuck IN the bunkbed, how? pass!
Between the bed/wall/steps n down the side of the bottom bunk base.
Him squeeging into small spaces is getting really annoying now, he's really gonna hurt himself.
I know he's only 2 and pushing his boundaries with us and his own boundaries BUT ITS SO ANNOYING lol
Suppose I better go check on the bad hair cut gang, i hear them but I can't see them, never good with them lot!

HEB bread roll, more pork, 1tbl spn hellmans vlf mayo 0.5 syn

Going to make up some rice pudding to have in a bit with a HeA of kara coconut milk.
Also got some magic porrige in the fridge for tomorrow, so I can make pancakes :D

Loads of pork left... so dunno if to do a green week next week, or start off EE...
I shall decide tomorrow, lol

as the title of the diary says - this is indeed my year.
I'm on top of the world today.
Beaming like a cheshire cat!
Ok, i'm 13st 8.. and happy I'm that weight!
Strange I know but yep 13st 8 is the place (looking at all me books n stuff from the past) where I always start.

When I weighed in when I started this time I was cross and upset that I'd got to 14st 8.

Now I mean business...
Being back at this weight is such a motivation for me.
As I don't want to be overweight anymore
I'm 5ft... I had to buy size 20/22 jeans near xmas... its not good.
I'm like a weeble, (still am but who cares today!)

Following the plan this time is just so different, my head is there, and my weight loss is showing that my head is there.

I'm happy, buzzing,yeah i'm still overly obsessed with food, this site and the fb page but fgs Its giving me inspiration to try new things
For example
Magic porridge pancakes..OMG DEVINE!
Had a plate full for brekkie with a chopped up narna and nearly a whole punnet of strawbs (ok it was a small punnet,roll on summer when they are cheap for loads lol)
But it was one of the nicest things I've ever tasted.

I nearly always tweak recipes, still on plan, just never really measure stuff out unless its a HE.
Like it says 1/4 teaspoon of such n such i just throw some in, if it tastes good - so be it, if it needs more, more goes in!

Right, onto planning dinner and tea *excited!

Bubbling on the hob we have..
onion, mushroom, green pepper, half a red (other half fell in my mouth) grated carrot, pasatta, chopped toms, quorn mince, maggi liquid seasoning, salt, garlic powder, oxo water...
Going to have it for tea with ?? who knows! but its smelling v good.
Going to gra b something to eat in a sec, all this cooking makes me hungry!

Possibly attempt a scanbran (other bit of heA) with summinks on... *is scared, I dont do scan bran apart from in cakes! lol
 
I had the scanbran - with a melted babybel with marmite mixed it - made it edible!!!
Had another melted babybel in half a yellow pepper again with marmite mmmmmmm

Made some SW chips to go with a whopping plate of my quorn concotion.
Probs gonna have that again tomorrow as there is loads left.

used my other heB on a scan bran cake hoping to fill me up, I'm a bottomless pit today.
Had 2 satsumas, an apple, rest of the strawbs.
Dunno whats up with me! - still being all angelic though... oo bugger need some syns erm erm.. dunno what to have! lol

I had a fibre plus bar - need to check out the syns,
Also got some rice pud on the hob forthe other heA of milk.
Just soo hungry and I don't know why!

On way home was starving, stop at sainsburys, tummy rumbling, all the norty treats calling my name -
I went to the salad bar n got a bowl of fruit :D Not only that though, bought ds3 some narnars as he was moaning.
I had one of them too, lol
OK I dont like lettuce salad anymore...
Made a salad, to go with my pitta pasty *drool!! Left the lettuce, ate the tomatos, pepper cucumber cottage cheese though!

Tea was therest of my quorn concotion, with my other heA of cheese
other heB was a syn free scanbran cake.

New love of my life - coconut esscence, was payday yesterday, so ordered 3 more bottles, some banana and something else.... cant remember
My cherry esscence turned up today eeks!

Had a couple of milk mouse chocs - when i say a couple i mean 2! not my old couple which was like 10!

Today -
Came home before going out pottering so I could eat

Been a bit of a nugget :( never got my anti d's ordred I'm on day 3 without any and I'm feeling it BIG TIME

it was
leek, onion and mushroom rissotto with heA of cheese.
While cleaning the kitchen, I was organising my cereal bars, found a perfect container for them lmao.
A fiber+ sorta fell in my mouth so thats a heB, followed swiftly by an alpen :eek: 3 syns.
They just looked so appetising lmao.

Having a think of what I can do tomorrow,
Probably asda meatless meatballs with pasta.
I would have stuffed peppers but some small people feefs decided they wanted them for tea, well 2 of them, one had jacket spud with beans and cheese - the other chips and beans, well he had 1 chip and fell asleep in his booster seat, again!

:( me cars got to go to the menders on Friday, exhaughst is a bit broked.
It's an old car, its used all the time for school runs, we cant afford a decent one so yet more money pumped into it for it to be fixed.
Gutted, wanted to get DS3's birthday pressies this month as his birthday is 1st april, so we'll get paid day before his birthday, and I need end of febs pay to buy a purdy dress for my bezzies 30th.

Night off, only one of the week, so defo an early night for me. Actually sitting here like a zombie, didn't fall asleep till gone 3am and was up at 730.

Actually - may make myself a hot choc with options and milk heA, and have the other alpen to make me other heB before bed.
Won't need late night snacks tonight!
 
Grabbed a couple of prepared fruit bowl thingys from morrisons this morning.
Pinapple/mango/melon in one and melon and grapes in the other
Demolished the 1st, while driving home and half the 2nd :eek:

Currently have cooking some mini pasta n sauce quiches, and i've just made a dahl loaf.
They wont last long, the fella is starving so he says! lol

Even tho I'm doing red/green mostly I'm still having like 1/3-1/2 of my plate superfree.
Todays lunch superfree. The 2 biggest beetroots you have ever seen (vacuum packed ones)
I LOVE BEETROOT!
have a feeling I have pink teefs now though.
