Weapons of mass reduction

Well as you all know I was away for a long weekend than took a while to get back into the swing of things back home, so SORRY for the break in service, I'm now back have lost the scone weight I gained while away. And it's put me in the mood for simple SW friendly foods YEAY.
Normal service will now be resumed.

I Maintained this week, I am dead happy with that, the steroids increase have given me the right munchies this last week, so I am pleased as punch with a maintain xxx...well done to all yet to weigh this week xxx

We've been decorating here. Anything that changes my routine plays havoc with my eating. I've managed to maintain but thats all but now we are putting furnature back etc its more back to normal so hopefully back to my happy eating routine. Love to all xxxx

Well, I lost 3.5lbs this week, so really pleased, however, it was only losing what i'd gained! I've been a bit of a yo yoer on this challenge and have totally lost where im at. I'm going to sit the end of this one out now but im really looking forwards to the Xmas one and I think it's not too long til it starts?

Updates now done and noticed this is the final week of this challenge - it finishes with Saturday's WI's on the 6th so the next challenge is due to begin on 7th Oct.

Suggestions for names welcome. I was trying to be a little amusing with my idea but happy to go with concensus as usual.

LBD for Santa Challenge or whatever else you would like.

So now the usual call for the amounts you wish to lose this challenge and whether you want it to run till the 16th or 22nd of December. Oh and obviuosly whether you wish to participate at all.

Tanya the same as last time for the other Tanya you are most welcome to join in or pop by but I assume you won't be partaking of the challenge since you are at target. :winner:

I look forward to all your replies and I'll collate the data ready for the start as per normal if noone objects. :D

Patsy welcome back hunni, glad you had a great time...I am raring to go on this challenge....I am happy personally to take the challenge to the 22nd but will go with what everyone else decides, so if it is the 22nd I am aiming for 22lb loss, if it's the 16th then I will aim for 20lbs....I have dilly dallied about all this year, a lot but not all due to my meds........ but I am determined to aim for the moon.....if I fall on the stars at least I gave it my best shot.

Hey girlies. As usual i am awol and my restart didnt happen :-(

Feeling crap and massive. None of my clothes fit me and i have had yo buy a few bits in bigger sizes. Makes me feel so ashamed.

But i am off to look at a new gym tomoro as my membership in the old one is up. Its nearer to home and i am focused to start my fitness proper again. I used to go 4-5 times a week and to spin class 2-3 times a week and now i sit on my ever fattening ass doing nothing!

Am in work today/tomoro so have all my food packed and ready to go. All sw friendly. Shopping is done and there is no crap in the house.

As for the challenge, i have failed miserably with the other ones. Plz sign me up. I dont mind if it runs til 16/22 dec. Whatever thr majority is i will go with that! I am aiming for 30lbs plz if its until the 22nd. I have gained over half of what i lost so i want that gone by xmas.

Sorry for moaning. And thanks for dropping into my diary and offering support. As always its much appreciated xxx

Does anyone ever feel that their body is too used to the lower fat/calorie of SW? Maybe it's stupid but I feel that cause I've been doing it for 2 years I've missed my chance and I'll never loose it all?
I know I lost weight this challenge but it's about the 4th time I've got to this weight then it stops and I start gaining...

Thanks everyone, good to be back and hopefully stay back and welcome back all my fellow weapons missing in action lol......Addi I am in the same boat all year have added and lost the same 7 or 8lbs but past experience (I have been following SW for the last 4 years and been at group for 2 years) has taught me that my body likes to take a rest from time to time and then comes back with a vengeance whether that's because it gets used to it or not I don't know, but it has always started up again eventually and I have gone on to have big losses ...so I just intend to stick with it no matter what and not give up or give in like I have for the last 40 years or so xxx:hug99:xxx
 
I lose weight very quickly on Atkins and I keep forgetting that this is life style not quick fix and I'm my own worst enemy when it comes to wine and going out with the girls and dinner with my navy boy etc.

Hi, everyone!

Looks like we are all raring to go again. I'm very determined as I havent lost as much as I had hoped for this year, 2 stones 3lbs so far so i'm going for a big target as I'm usually very determined in the Christmas run up. I was a pound under 20 stone stone last Christmas and had lost 4st so i'd really like to repeat my loss from 2012 and end up at 15 st 13 lb therefore gonna say 26 lbs for me please.Love the challenge to go to the 22nd or I will fall of the rails for too long. Maybe then the next challenge can start on the first week of New Year so we can all start with a clean slate rather than all have a minus due to Christmas?

Yep looks like most think the 22nd is the date! I am really ready for this

Went to look at a gym earlier. It was gorgeous! The place looks fantastic and they do spin class twice a day! Spin class was my favourite! Its a little expensive tho so am goin to think bout it and might go for the off peak membership but it means i wont be able to do the classes in the evening which include a kickboxing/boxercise one and more spin! Decisions decisions! He gave me a free pass to try it out so im goin to go fri after work and then decide
Sounds lovely and you were so good at going before, I'm sure you'll get back into it. Does your work suit the off-peak membership limits if so it sounds perfect for you. :D
 
Thanks PP. The off peak is from 9-4 mon to fri. They gym times suit me perfect for those times as i will be finished work in the am or could go before i start my shift in the evening. Its the classes i am looking at tho. They gym is only 10 mins away so its pretty close. I would love to do the boxercise class or the spin class in the evening if i cant make it during the day. But is it worth and extra EUR15 per month for a couple of classes?????
Do they not do some classes off-peak?

I really need to get myself into gear, no more faffing. So the slow cooker is coming out of hiding tomorrow ready to try some new meals :D
 
Lovely to see everyone ready to attack this again.

I've finally decided I'm not getting value from going to class anymore. I've not warmed to the new lady and we now have a house and a wedding to save for.

I'm not stupid, I know what I have to do and have the tools to do it.

I will miss the online access but maybe I'll look to join that in the future if I can't do it alone and with the support on here.

SW dosh will be going in my savings account now every month instead

Anyway, I've not had time to do a search yet so apologies if it's staring at me but those new laughing cow lite blue are yum I'm hoping they can still be a HEXA and the new ryvita flavours a HEXB, I got her flavour. Yummmmmy!
 
Oh and I need to buy some scales lol. I've not weighed in for three weeks! My 'small' work trousers are comfortable so hopefully that bodes well :)
