I have a long way to go yet - but it's still a great feeling! And someone here (probably Jim) suggested visualising each lb as a lb of butter - and doing that makes me feel really good.
Thanks Jim - and I hear you on the warning, I'm ready for it to slow down quite dramatically after this.
This is the first time I have tried to make a conscious effort to lose weight in years - I let the usual dramas of life get in the way, and I'm very very good at making excuses , and I normally get bored after a week.
But so far, so good! Something weird has happened to my brain - I really feel like I can do it this time - with the help of the forum, natch
So if I can emulate your experience and celebrate a 1-2 lb loss each week, then it's all good.
