Lazy day here too

Quite busy today.. fitted a new water filter to the tap, cleaned spots of gravy I spilt on the carpet and sorted a pile of clothes and put them away in their proper places!

Going to collect my husbands prescription, then we are going to look for a new CD player, then do some shopping, pick up some bumf on new cars and having lunch in town. This afternoon, sitting with my crochet until T time

Home help is busy doing the hoovering, ironing and washing kitchen and bathroom floors for me and when she goes I will finish off making a rich fruit cake and hopefully use up some marzipan and icing to make it look really nice for Christmas!

After a mad hectic day yesterday... my knees are still protesting I'm having a quiet day, maybe make a cake for my husband, and generally tidying up

Did a bit more sorting in my bedroom and made a chicken korma.

Didn't do much apart from try to attach my digi box to the TV in the bedroom which isn't working now!

Did want to go swimming but my back is soo bad at the mo' and ended up taking a dose of morphine as I just can't stand it any longer! :argh:

We are planning on changing our car next year so going to get some brochures today. I've offered to download them from the 'tinternet so can come up with a shortlist, but my husband is a bit of a Luddite and insists on doing the way he always does (trudge around the showrooms) So that's what we will be doing. He seems to like the new Citroen Cactus. I don't care what we have so long as I can parallel park the thing

Got horrendous tummy pains today so I'm going to rest up and have a lazy day....

Now I've sorted some things out I was going to have a nap while watching a film.But OH has just rung and said he's on his way home.The windscreen got a 2 foot crack in it so Auto Glass is coming here to replace it.

Sounds just like me there Mary.. "watching" a film and napping! :giggle:

Did want to go and sort the last bit of hoarded stuff in the bedroom but there's more important things to do..
