Whats for tea tonight?

Had a nice spag Bol. An oldie but a goodie :) Mince beef bacon onion mushroom pepper celery carrot chopped toms passata stock garlic mixed herbs and a splash of balsamic. Simmered for an hour and dished up with whole wheat penne and a hex of cheese. Might have been a bit too much penne for the amount of super free but I've had a really light Brekky and lunch and just couldn't face another salad!!!

A feast.... A tandoori tasting dish on the bottom left:


  • 1 tablespoon ginger
  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon coriander
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon turmeric
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne
Together with half a pot of fat free yoghurt, chicken marinated in the sauce for a couple of hours, put onto baking tray, cooked for fifteen minutes, turned over for five minutes. Unbelievably delicious...

Bottom right, chicken kebabs marinating in a sauce made up of the juice of a whole lemon, cider vinegar, garlic, salt and pepper and some paprika. Marinated for two hours, put under grill and turned half way through cooking, to the right and higher, is a thick gammon steak cut into strips to go along with the kebab, top left, kebab salad, grated carrot, chopped cabbage, pickled red cabbage and pickled dills, top right regular salad with lettuce, onions, red onions and tomatoes.

I think im gonna have another go at the kebab meat but use ex lean mince instead of Lamb. Ill just make it and not tell hubby what it is lol hes still hungover anyway
