Ham cooked in the slow cooker in a citrus chilli & mustard sauce, with carrots, broccoli and another veg (not sure which one yet) with roasties or wedges, or maybe bubble and squeak - not that I'm indecisive tonight!

MinkyDinky said:Doing a slow cooker whole chicken. Scared! Never done a chicken in there before so hope it's ok. It's just because I heard the skin doesn't go gorgeous and crispy so there will be no temptation to eat it

We've got roast chicken too but it's not even in the oven yet!

Ooooh that sounds nice how many syns in the curry sauce?
MinkyDinky said:It was lovely! Turned out very juicy and not dry in the slightest. Handy to do too because with all the roasting tins in a small oven it becomes a case of like batch cooking just for a roast!! Enjoy your clucker!! Xx
Ooh that looks lovely. Is that the slow cooker recipe? X
lsf666 said:Thanks x Well we don't have a slow cooker but save oven space by using the actifryer for the veg

I've not taken anything out of the freezer for dinner tonight - so will probably be a quorn (chicken style bits or steak strips) stir fry with noodles. Unless Tesco have any amazing offers on steak - then it'll be steak, SW chips and salad instead!
