Haha o dear!! Well I didnt do the gym today in fact I haven't been since last Tuesday. Im full up with flu and I mean seriously full up.good thing is I really think I can diet well this week as can't taste a thing so only eating wen starving and eating healthy foods :)

I've been a bit illing since Saturday and am still not 100%. Not weighed myself today but I hover in the mid 9s usually. I'd love to break the binge / starvation cycle though! I find it really difficult to maintain my weight by eating, say, 1700 calories a day. I do stupid binging of 3000 cals a day for a week or so and see 9 st 12 on the scales. So I then do a week of SS and go back down. And so it begins again:

I'm beginning to think that CD keeps you firmly in this trap!! I'm ok at the moment as I just can't stand this any more so in really concentrating on just 1500 cals a day - but bloody hell - maintaining is harder than I imagined !

I feel ya!!! My eating habits r very similar tbh- binging then starvation its not good is it??!!! Clothes wise my clothes still feel the same but the weight is bugging m3 as im nearer to 11 st than I am 10 and thats the wrong way round lol!!!! Got 6days worth of cd in the cupboard and I can't decide when to use it up. ... gonna eat next to nothing this week whilst im ill see wher that gets me on the scales. Im out saturday night and then I hav a wedding on the 27th so I may do cd the week before that perhaps?? Hmmm defo hard this maintaining lark ay lol
 
I really want to break the CD habit! Because it is a habit isn't it? It's too easy to think ' oh I'll just do a week of SS ' because ultimately it's not good for you. Well, I can only speak for myself but I'm convinced it has a big affect on my mood. I'm generally quite consistent in my mood but when I do my three bars and a coke zero a day thing , I feel a bit low and anxious.

It's just a vicious circle. We all know what we should eat so it just proves that for women food is a very emotional thing.

You seem to be maintaining though LM! I know that just a few lbs can make you feel completely different about yourself though
 
greta this was the arguement i was having with myself big time.............ultimately you cant keep doing CD or relying on it. Plus when i showed the packs to a dietitian they are really not good for you.

BUT

I get where your coming from. Its like a security thing. It works and we know it but I really dont think long term its good. I was on and off it for like a year and it did me no good in the end!

WI for me on friday and LM why dont you join us or something and we can all try and eat really healthy.

IM starving lol by the way xxx
 
No it's not good for you at all. But I think we get hooked on the quick results without stopping to think about the yo yo aspect

Today's food

Protein bar

Red pepper and light cheese salad
Banana
Natural yogurt

That's it so far but I'm bloody starving
 
I had a reasonable day yesterday and did a class at lunch time and one in the eveningXXXXx

currently having my boiled egg on wholemeal toast yum xxx

Plus was thinking about the shakes again this morning...........why does it do that to you!
 
Ok.so iv had an awful week I saw 11st last night so im seriously back in the zone. Healthy eating today unfortunately im out tomoro night so that we will involve bad food and alcohol but monday im coming back hard.... shakes for breakie and lunch and a very small tea. Must nip this now before it gets too far!!!+++ xx

Hey hun yeah weighed and lost 1lb not great but lost so i guess thats good plus wasnt good at the weekend!!! Having a thought thou................... im thinking about doing shakes you know on monday tuesday and thursdays only kinda like the 5:2 diet but incorporating loads of other stuff what do you recon!

These bloody shakes are calling my nameeeee!!!!!

need to get some cheap though any ideas x

I know!!! Well iv always said if I ever hit 11st that's enough lol!! Wana lose about 10lbs get me into the low 10s again. Um slim and save prob the cheapest arent they?? Im gonna have my shakes with skimmed milk and not water so I get my calcium :) writing off the weekend tho as I know its going to fuelled with bad things x

Gonna get some off slim and save and give it a bash jut so pissed off as been to the gym 8 times this week!!! And my inches haven't gone down either!!!
 
I know its crap isnt it wen u work for it and don't see the results u should. Ive got a wedding on 27th I wana lose 7lbs by then so Monday is the beginning (again!!!!) Gonna force myself at the gym shortly im a tad hungover lol!!!! Then bbq later on yum!!!!! Xxxx
