Yeah Ikwym. You choose a 5 hour window to eat in and that's it. I usually have between 6 - 11 pm. I eat a dinner and a few snacks, maybe some wine on a weekend. Calories come in about 1,200 more on a weekend. The rest of the 16 hours I only have coffee or zero drinks. It stops the all day snacking and I'll just have *insert food of choice* mentality. Of course if you eat 2000 cals plus in your window every single day you won't lose weight as a couple of us tried to explain a few weeks ago to someone starting it. :sigh: It only works well if calories are a bit restricted on at least 5 days. The other option is 2 fast days a week.( not necessarily back to back) I found doing that meant I could eat whatever I wanted ( within reason) the other 5 days. Another factor is do you really need to lose anymore weight? If you are active it might be you are showing muscle weight rather than fat and don't need to lose anymore. BMI's are notoriously inaccurate in active people who carry muscle. xx
