Where the bargains are at and anything else thats useful.

Fantastic for getting through January on a budget :) we have enough meat in the freezer, rice and pasta in the cupboard etc just was low on Superfree. Now as long as we pick up eggs and milk as we go we'll make it to the end of the month!
We need a Farmfoods over here.. Or a cheap flight and good freezer bag will do.. lol

Velvet Crunch is £1 in Sainsbury's at the moment and you get 6 in the pack whereas Poundland it's only 5.

Seen lidl have the 5 piece george forman grille for £19.99 and aldi have a 4 piece one for £19.99 also but the aldi one has a 3 year warranty on it not sure with the one from lidl.

I agree. I use a lot of both, fresh veg and the frozen. Tend to use a lot of the frozen now as its much quicker to cook , especially when im starving lol

I got some cadburys highlights caramel flavour a tub for £2.50 in sainsburys today(my sainsburys and tesco are right opposite each other so i tend to look in both and the hot choc was £3.69 in there!) along with some Thai chilli ryvita minis 3 for £1.

In tescos they had 8 packs of diet coke, caffeine free diet coke, cherry diet coke and normal coke for £1.87.

I brought some broccoli and sliced peppers and ive got to say the broccoli tastes better than fresh to me i just put it in a bowl with cling wrap over the top and stab some holes in and zap it in the microwave.

The peppers are good to i used a bag in my chilli con carne and currie i made last weekend.

I will defo be getting more frozen veg.
I've got to agree, I prefer frozen broccoli to fresh. Has more crunch to it!

The leaflet I picked up today say they're not available till Sunday 13th so don't go rushing out :D They also have 12 lt Halogen Ovens & 5 lt Pressure Cooker - £29.99 each, compact Food Processors £14.99 & Electric Omelette Makers £12.99 from Sunday too.

Frozen veg is ace - so cheap. Sainburys do some great veg, and lazy veg too like bags of frozen chopped onion and garlic (perfect for me with my poor joints) as well as 'soup mix' of leek, carrot and onion all finely chopped, i put this in soups and pasta dishes :) lovely

That soup mix sounds good, I've just been to sainsburys might have to go back now!

The only supermarket that has an offer on them is Waitrose- buy 2 pkts and you save 60p. Otherwise they are £1.75 in Tesco and Sainsburys and £1.74 in Asda.
Actually Waitrose only sell the light not the extra light- they seem to be difficult to get hold of x

WW petit pain- it is only Asda you can get them from? As I'm planning ahead and want to make some SW friendly garlic bread to have with a Spag Bol next week? And are they a HEXB?
Also off to Tesco in a bit, already looked on website to see they have Velvet Crunch 2 for £2 :D
