Where the bargains are at and anything else thats useful.

WW petit pain- it is only Asda you can get them from? As I'm planning ahead and want to make some SW friendly garlic bread to have with a Spag Bol next week? And are they a HEXB?
Also off to Tesco in a bit, already looked on website to see they have Velvet Crunch 2 for £2 :D

Yes they are a hexb according to the slimming world website and u can get them in poundland too! X

The only supermarket that has an offer on them is Waitrose- buy 2 pkts and you save 60p. Otherwise they are £1.75 in Tesco and Sainsburys and £1.74 in Asda.
Actually Waitrose only sell the light not the extra light- they seem to be difficult to get hold of x

I usually get the extra light philli from Tesco and I had a large stock up when they were on offer but they ate not on offer at the mo. Its fine . I noticed they had large tubs of extra light phili recently so ill hydride one of them. X

Morrisons had Option Turkish delight in a jar £2. I think other flavours were the same. Did not look as I do not tend to buy them

Ordered a whole fresh lamb from our Makro £60. Thye cut it how I wanted and worked out about £4.30 per kg (£2.15 per lbs). It was brilliant shared with my brother. Cooked some and it is tasty so we order again when we run out.

Tesco have:

Velvet Crunch 2 for £2
DE Flavour Collective coffee £2 a jar plus there is a 50p off coupon on the jar (let's just say I stocked up *coughs*)
WW petit pain 4pk is 90p and you get 2 extra free!!!
Pukka teas £1.70

Forgot to add on a bad note I couldn't get Chickpea Dahl from Tesco :( it's on their website but not in my store, no ticket for it either :( and I asked the most unhelpful employee and she ignored me grr! This is y I prefer Waitrose- the staff (for the most part) aren't rude!!
So I had to buy the fiery chilli beans for my jacket potato instead x

I found waitrose staff quite rude when I go in, but then again I have dreadlocks down to my bum and am not your usual sort of customer haha! Plus was asking loads of odd questions about vegan food and they probs had no idea what I was asking about.

Will have to check this coffee out - where stocks it? I usually shop in sainsburys but cannae find it.

Haha that made me laugh! I actually work for Waitrose so I am slightly biased!! But most of our customers will say how much nicer the staff are than in Tesco. I have had really lovely helpful staff in there but other times there are the most rude, unhelpful people ever!
Tesco, Asda, Sainsburys and I believe Morrisons does too.

Oh yeah they were much nicer than Tesco - I avoid Tesco like the plague, but then again a few of my mates work for them and I don't think they are the best looked after staff so I cannae really blame them for being miserable. I bet the perks of the job are much nicer in Waitrose! I think the main problem was just ignorance when I've been in there - I live in Norfolk which isn't the most up-to-date place as it is (if you ain't white with normal hair and a norfolk accent, then you get looked at hahahah) so I think they were just bemused at the sight of me with a cockney accent, dressed like a hobo but buying very expensive cider and food. I suppose you don't get it every often round these ways :) Tis a shame there's only that one waitrose, and its so far (other end of the city) as they have some delicious stuff in there, and the cider collection is the best for a supermarket IMO...fresh food is lovely too, but I can't justify the diesel and couldn't do all of my shopping in there every week.

Will have another scout out for the DE coffee, I take it is all free?? I wanna try the caramel one, yummy

Yes I'm very lucky as I get 15% discount in Waitrose and 25% discount in John Lewis, plus I get 10% discount on all insurances (we have 3 pets so we got a 5% multi pet discount too!!) and the bonus you may have heard about- they announce it in March every year and its basically a % of their profits after all the outgoings have been paid for. Last year was 14% I think and that's basically 14% of every hour you have worked in that year! I got about £2000!! It pays my car insurance every year!
I struggle to find SW friendly items in Waitrose that's the only downside.
As much as I love the food, etc I wouldn't shop in there if I didn't get discount cos I simply couldn't afford it.

Yes all 3 flavours are free :D my favourite is the hazelnut :) Tesco and Sainburys both have it for £2 right now

Got quite a few of tescos diet coke offer today! They're £1.87 for a pack of 8 cans

Doesn't matter what you look like! No excuse for bad customer service skills.

Managed to find Muller Turkish Delight in our local Co-Op. Sainsburys had packet of flat bread their own brand £1 normally £1.50 and own brand tortilla wraps £1.20 each 2 for £2 - each WM wrap is about 160 kcals so I tweak it to be HEXB+ 2 syns. Nice treat from time to time.

Sinasburys have got all the mugshot/dried pasta/noodles etc on offer, 3 for £1.80 IIRC.

FOUND THE DE COFFEE TOO it was on the end of an aisle (not the coffee/tea aisle???) and I put 2 in the basket then removed one as I just cannae afford it...it better be nice, costs a bomb for such a small amount of coffee!! Got the caramel one...think it will be a nice nightcap if i'm tired too early or need to stay awake.

Am still waiting for LM sausages to be on offer again, I'm running low :(
