WiiFit's Weight Loss Diary

I need to do something hells. I don't want to lose the impetus/momentum I'd built up. I've done a very SW heavy online shop and hopefully will soon get back into my previous daily exercise routine.

As an aside, the floor is beautiful. :)

You teach maths? The country needs more people like you! The research work sounds fascinating.

I don't know if this helps, but I have realised over the last few weeks that upping the amount of (non-dairy) veggie food I eat & lowering the amount of meat seems to work well for a speedier weight loss. Also, using spices in cooking is known to speed the metabolism - and cooking veggie stuff from scratch also means I use more spices - so.... Anyway, thought I'd mention this, as its been working for me for the last couple of weeks, and I'm really pleased.

Hey, we all keep plodding on :)

Glad the floor looks good.

I'm plodding along but have just done a shop and think I'm going to make a couple of soups, and might do a " speed soup" for lunches this week. I've also decided to do some green days as I don't eat meat anyway and I think it'll give me more HEB's for some variety so I'm less tempted to use my syns.

I sat with a load of recipe books out last night trying to get inspired with cooking freezer meals... Although my son is unwell so didn't get far before he woke and he's whining and clingy so not sure how much I'll actually get done today!

Thanks Seacrest it's definitely something I'll give a go.

Hells, the best laid plans etc Good move on the speed soup though.

I usually love this time of year but seem to be feeling particularly stressed about Christmas preparations, family politics, you name it I'm stressing about it.

Really trying not to lose hold of my SW lifeline.

Well I stayed the same again this week...

No more excuses (even though baby daughter was 16 on Monday so the weekend was filled with celebrations).

I think I've proven to myself that my grip on SW is still tenuous so I need the structure of recording what I'm eating and drinking and what exercise I'm doing.

So:

The Wii is reconnected.

I have Hi Fi bars.

I just put a charity bag ouside for collection filled with the rest of my size 20 clothes (and a few size 22 items too)

So here goes:

Wednesday 14th November

Breakfast: Fruit n Fibre, sliced banana and skimmed milk.

You're doing great! Start as you mean to go on.... that's what I'm doing with the gym, going to go again tomorrow! Going to be as good as I can be up until christmas... then just chill (and probably gain!) I'll try to stick to the plan! Looking forward to the day I can donate some clothes and buy some smaller ones! :)

Thanks Rachel!:)

Exercise: Walked the dog, did 40 minutes on the Wii and tummy exercises. Walked to and from school.

Could I please ask if wii fit really helps weight loss? If so, which are the best 'exercises' to do? I'm not an exercise fan but maybe I could be if it would help me lose weight!!:sigh:

It's classed as part of body magic and I believe it helps me. Not on it's own, obviously but as part of the bigger picture mentally and physically. I reckon any exercise is better than no exercise and I always feel better for having done some. I usually work through each section or pick out faves depending on how much time I have - I think the most time I've spent on is about an hour and 40 minutes lol

The aerobic section is probably most beneficial re weight loss.

P.S. I have the Wii Fit Plus
