So, for our Christmas lunch my research group has decided to go to a Chinese buffet. (How that relates to Christmas, I don't know) My academic supervisor is organising, with the postgrads and other project students also going.
I'm actually really worried:
1) because buffets are a social minefield anyway, I always feel like people are judging about what you are eating/amount
2) I don't really know any of them
3) WHAT AM I GOING TO EAT??
I'm panicking they are going to think I'm a fussy flappy person, avoiding rice/noodles/only one plate full, I would normally explain, but I don't know them that well. I know I'm gonna have do bend Dr.D's rules. sigh. Its been going so well!
What do you think would be the best dishes for damage limitations?
Thanks all,
x
