Yasmine's Refeed diary

Ok then, so as long as it's within my maintaining range. So say when I'm maintaining at 1100 cals, I should just pop it in and comprimise it with everything else?

Btw how's my menu for tomorrow? I dunno why but I feel like I'm going wrong somewhere. Starting to feel those guilty feelings again from eating, I hate that :(

Yes just add them in to your 1100 daily intake.

Your menu looks great for tomorrow, plenty of essential nutrients there.

What are you going to have for breakfasts after your lipotrim shakes are finished?

I'm going to start with porridge on some days and maybe toast or soemthing on others, but instead of butter, I'll be using lite cheese triangles or natural yoghurt or something. I'm scared of butter :(. I'm thinking of jam, but I'm scared of that too lol.

I'll then try special K, but it's calorie content is already high without skimmed milk.

I think porridge is one of the most substantial breakfast cereals and it keeps you full for ages.

I dont know about special k, I am sure I read somewhere it was very high in (I forget) I think it might be carbs, but to be honest, I am only going by calories.

I've been itching to have porrige with fruit, been craving it since being on LT.

I want to stay on calories, I don't care much for the other things, it'll just confuse and scare me more then I might end up restricting myself and starving myself. There's no way in hell that I'm going back to that.

Eggs and toast? what method would be best to cook the eggs? pouched I guess isn't it? how do I make pouched eggs?

You can make poached eggs by bringing some water to boil in a saucepan, add a little vinegar as this keeps the white of the egg together, when the water is boiling, turn it down to a simmer and drop the egg gently in. Break your egg into a dish first to make it easier to pop it in the saucepan.

Or easier way is to buy a poacher, they cost around £5 in Wilkinsons.

Boiled eggs would be my preference, boil them for 4-5 minutes (depending on how soft you like them) then I put them into a dish with a spoonful of extra lite mayonnaise, mix them up and put on to toast - lovely jubbly.

Ooo sounds nice. I can have mayo when refeed's over? I don't really like it, but it would be nice for a change instead of dry sandwiches.

Does this sound bad to you?
a banana and honey sandwich? I won't eat it now of course :D

Yes you can have anything you like after your refeed, as long as you are counting it into your daily calories. Thats what I love about calorie counting, nothing is forbidden, simple motto - eat it - count it.

Banana and honey sandwich doesnt sound so bad hun, I remember in the summer many years ago, my Mum used to slice an orange (like in pineapple rings shape) and make a sandwich with that.

If its what you fancy, go ahead and have it.

I dont think I could eat it, but I could put it onto some crackers or something, maybe some seeded ryvita. You might just start something new here Yas lol.

Aww brilliant!

LOL I've been craving banana butty's for ages! I've also been craving banana and peanut butter sandwiches, but that would be very calorific I think :p

When are we allowed butter?!!! the cheese triangles were allowed from day 3 right?

And also, crackerbreads - i love them with tuna on - when are we able to have them on refeed?

Sorry for taking over your diary yas lol

LOL it's no trouble at all. You can ask all you like, I too am interested about crackerbreads like ryvita, saw my mum eating it, looked yummy. I would love that with Natural yog and cherry toms with parsely :D

oh god ryvitaa ewwwwwww!!! but then again, change of tastebuds an all that i might like it once im off lt lol

Exactly! If you're like me, I now love everything!

...well...maybe not..*shudders* avocado...I'd rather skin myself alive than eat that stuff eva again! YUCKITY YUCK YUCK!

avacado - not allowed that on refeed are we?

Ive never tried it but will give it a go! lol

It's a fruit, but it's the most fattiest fruit. It doesn't allow us to have it on refeed.

wow i didnt know it was a fruit or it was the most fattiest! Probably why gucamole tastes so good!! haha

Hey yas - do ya know if we are allowed sour cream on refeed? i doubt it ... :( lol

Sour cream, is that some kind of salad dressing? if so, if it's low fat I'm sure it's fine.

sour cream - you usually have it with chilli - i may email lt about it :)
