*Zoe's Food Diary 2011...the extra easy way :-)*

Yeah, I have a couple of red days a week. I don't necessarily pig out on meat - sometimes I just feel the need for an extra HEB. I've been having more fish - my 2 most successful weeks have been where I've had fish for tea Mon, Tue & Wed before WI on Thursday morning.

Oooo, might have to give that a go then!
Im out Saturday Night, so looks like im guna be well off track...plenty of alcohol will be getting drunk, wahoooo :drunk: x

THURSDAY 17TH MARCH

Breakfast
Cheese (42g Low Low) & Onion Toastie, using the Poundland Toastie Bags...very yum!

Lunch
Egg Mayo Sarnies (2 eggs, 2 level tbsp Extra Light Mayo). Bowl of Strawberries, Raspberries & Grapes.

Dinner
Egg, Chips & Beans

Snacks
1/2 Galaxy Ripple
Apple
Banana

Drinks
2 Litre Water
2 cups of tea

HEA: 42g Low Low Cheese
HEB x 2: 4 slices of Wholemeal Bread

SYNS: 1/2 Galaxy Ripple 4.5
Extra Light Mayo 1
 
Yeh, deffo my favourite day so far. Nice and simple...plus i was 2lbs lighter this morning!! I know i know i shouldnt weigh myself at home...but i do, it gets me out of bed on a morning :) Infact im guna have to hide the scales again, coz im getting obsessed!
Tues morning i jumped on them...said 9st 12 and 1/4, i was very impressed so jumped on them again just to make sure... 9st 12 3/4, oh no...so thought 3rd time lucky...9st 13!! Aaaaarrrggghhh, i was guttered, put a right dampener on my day!

The weekends feast!

Ive been pretty good over the weekend, didnt end up going out Saturday night :( but did end up getting a chinese :eek:

FRIDAY 18TH MARCH - GREEN DAY

2 x Weetabix with chopped banana. Bit of quiche.

Lunch
2 slices of Quiche. Bowl of Strawberries, Raspberries & Grapes. Banana & Custard Muller Yogurt

Dinner
More quiche (i love it!!) with SW chips & beetroot.

Snacks
2 x Mini Milks
Apple, Tangerine & 2 pears
Fibre Plus Bar

Drinks
2 Litre Water
3 cups of tea

HEA: 42g Low Low Cheese for quiche & 350ml Skimmed Milk
HEB x 2: 2 x Weetabix & Fibre Plus Bar

SYNS: Pasta n Sauce for quiche 0.5
2 x Mini Milks 3
Extra Milk 2
 
SATURDAY 19TH MARCH - EXTRA EASY

Breakfast
Cheese & Onion Toastie

Lunch
Quiche, jacket potato, beans & beetroot. Pear.

Dinner
Chicken Chow Mein, 4 prawn crackers & couple of chips :eek:

Strawberries & Banana

Made a bit of a mistake yesterday morning, thought i could have 2 shredded wheat as HEB, but book states that you can have 1 plus some ryvita or something (cant remember and book is at home). Am i right in synning the 2nd Shredded Wheat as 3.5. Im confused :confused:

SUNDAY 20TH MARCH - EE DAY

Breakfast
2 x Shredded Wheat with Semi Skimmed Milk. Pear

Lunch
Sunday Dinner. Beef, mash, carrots, peas & bisto gravy

Dinner
Spaghetti Carbonara, with bacon, mushrooms, spring onion, garlic & 3 dollops Tesco Low Fat natural yoghurt (not sure if syns in this or not).

Snacks
Tangerine

Drinks
1 Litre Water
3 cups of tea

HEA: 350ml Skimmed Milk
HEB: 1 x Shredded Wheat

SYNS: 1xShredded Wheat 3.5
Bisto Gravy 2
Low Fat Natural Yoghurt 2??
Extra Milk 2

Scales are not looking good :cry: ...any advice? Could it be the exercise (i've been going on the exercise bike for 15-20 minutes every night, then a few reps on each arm with 2kg weights) or maybe the lack of syns im having??

MONDAY 21st MARCH - GREEN

Cheese & Broccoli Pasta n Sauce

Dinner
Quorn Chilli with 2 jacket potatoes, dollop of natural yoghurt with 21g Low Low cheese sprinkled on top

Snacks
Muller Yoghurt - Cranberry & Raspberry
Fibre Plus Bar

Drinks
2 Litre Water
2 cups of tea

HEA x 2: 42g Low Low Cheese for toastie, 175ml Skimmed Milk, 21g Low Low Cheese sprinkled on Chilli
HEB x 2: 2 x Wholemeal Bread & Fibre Plus Bar

SYNS: Pasta n Sauce 0.5
 
The scales won't show an accurate loss until WI day hun - tomorrow??

Mind you, you haven't had many syns this week ... and I have read that for the first 2 weeks of exercise your muscles retain a little water to prevent injury ... so there 'could' be a little bit of that going on.

Put it this way, nobody could eat as little as you do and exercise the way you have been and NOT lose weight :rolleyes:

Keep up the good work and you are sure to get some good results - honest :D

I hope so...I've tried soooo hard these past couple of weeks and the weight gain has just disheartened me a little.

Feel like I've gone overboard tonight though...OH bought me a malteaster bunny as a treat (n to get some syns used up) for after my dinner of egg, SW chips n beans...but then I started eye-ing up his Morrisons meat feast stuffed crust pizza, which then followed by a 'nibble'...which turned in to a slice. Sooo nice...but then checked syns online n found it to be 9syns in 1/6 slice...so that was my malteaster bunny out the window :-(

One hour later...n still in need of a choccy fix, I opted for half a galaxy ripple, perfect for 4.5 syns.

Still under 15syns I suppose

WI tomorrow, Ooooooo :-S

1lb gain last night..,not sure why. Ive been below my syns every day...i think!?
Oh well, not guna let it dishearten me!
Got a new bike through work today, part of the 'healthy towns' promotion! Had to do cycle training beforehand, looked a right muppet riding round the town centre with my helmet, luminous orange hi-vis jacket and matching rucksack, haha...good job i didnt see anyone i knew, LOL :giggle:
Plenty of bike rides for me :happy036: Bring it on!!!

As for the bike...my plans are scuppered...due to saddle soreness, hahaha! Can barely sit down, let alone ride a bloody bike...trust me to go overboard on my first day!
