I've just made the cheesecake. It must be the first time I've had all the ingredients for a recipe in the house, lol. It tastes really lemony :D I ground some almonds & mixed with melted butter for the base. Yum yum :D

Been a super busy weekend, been quite good food-wise but prob a bit too much booze - but still lost every day this week after last Monday's carb fest.
Linz - you have done tremendously well with your loss this week - well done you xx
 
I didn't toast them, lol. Just ground them & added some melted butter to make the base. It was soooo lush! :D

I'm so tired today, its not funny!

This past week since starting my pre-op I've not been sleeping well at all, not going to sleep til gone midnight & awake by 0500.

Although I don't feel nervous my mind must be in overdrive, I can't believe I can be this tired & not sleep!

We watched 'In pusuit of happyness' last night & I bawled like a baby over his relationship with his son & then I got all upset about what I'm putting my kids thru all b'coz I can't keep my hand out the cookie jar!!!!!!!!

Today I feel really disgusted with myself that I ever let it get this far & that I am letting my kids down by going thru all this..... please tell me this is my nerves finally kicking in & I'm perfectly normal!!

Kids are back to school today & I'm going to miss them so much, at least I get to pick Amalie up from preschool at lunchtime! Think I may try & have a sleep whilst she's out.

Sorry for my doom & gloom, off to go & hide in a dark corner now!
 
WOW a whole stone is MEGA.... :D

I think what you're feeling is perfectly normal and having watched Sally Morgan yesterday her emotions overwhelmed her before the op too. Are you on the WLS forum because I know it helps to chat with others who've gone through the same experience?

Please forgive me if you've mentioned this in your diary already, my head is like a sieve!

I loved that film last night too..... and there was something I posted on FB a few days ago saying the most precious thing you'll ever have around your neck are the arms of your children. How blessed we are to have them :) and just think of all the years ahead you'll have now to be running around and enjoying them all the more.

Seem to have got a nesting instinct today have just scrubbed down the shower, washed the floors & am sorting cupboards!!!

Well guys I think maybe my wobble this morning was down to the kids going back to school & really missing them b'coz I'm back to feeling on top of the world again now! I'm sure my rollercoaster will be back again soon tho....:rolleyes:
