I cant imagine.....I think it is only when it things affect us in some way that we realise the extent of what is going on out there.

My thoughts are will you, and your whole family Tanya.....my brothers were in the army for years and I remember the Falklands, and the Gulf war and how I sat on pins watching the tv for hours!

But, your brother will be getting on with it like they all do and hats off to them!! They are amazing and deserve all our admiration and respect 100%!!!!

So bbq last night was super :) Just me, the bf and me littler brother. I had 1 burger, 2 sausages and 2 lamb &mint skewer things. A spoonfull of low fat pot salad and an actual salad. Oh and of course, 2 wholemeal rolls :)

Monday 10th May

B- 2 slices wholemeal toast with utterly butterly

L- Pick n Mix at the cinema. 1 stick of twix.

D- chicken breast stuffed with goats cheese and wrapped in 2 slices of bacon with curly fries (done in the oven)

*munchies ice cream & some apple freddie frog sweet things
*1 small packet mini cheddars with a little onion & garlic dip. 2 tsp low fat pot salad.

*home from work: 4 melba toasts with light soft cheese with garlic and herbs with some ham and a slice of cheddar cheese

So, tomorrow right back on track. This weekends been a bit of a wash. I have nothing planned now untill the 30th so im laying off the booze and being sensible on weekends, all weekend!!! You heard it here first ladies! :giggle:

It was cold here too, but i think the hoody and the alcohol helped somwhat! :giggle:

I must make a plan to cut out the booze when back off holiday ... but don't hold your breath waiting for me to announce it LOL! Best of luck with it Tan - I admire your resolve :) xx

My GOD what a difference! You're nearly as big as your eyelashes!! ;) ... Still gorgeous though :) xx
 
hahhahaha Jan! Those eyelashes are fake - i regretted them not long after getting them done!

I am knuckling down tomorrow/today :)
Bought some bran flakes today to have for my breakfasts. Thought they were a good choice (are they?) instead of bread every morning. I wana get away from that. So i'll mix it up, cereal some mornings, fruit and yog others and toast on 2 mornings a week max :D
 
Sounds like a good plan to me Tanya. Maybe some fruit with your bran flakes, would make sure you are full up.
 
A banana with my bran flakes or maybe a chopped up apple?
Or im guna have to invest in some berries - frozen ones will do the job too right?x
 
Yes, all are fine. I sometimes use the frozen berries too, quite cheap in Tesco, I love them in porridge.
 
Sounds good Tan - I love berries (you may have noticed ;)) especially raspberries & blueberries - trust me to like the most expensive ones!!

What you had whn you got in from work wasn't bad - except possibly the slice of cheese - depending on how big it was ;) xx
 
Those pics are amazing Tanya!! WAW; how far you have come in a year - eh!

I am actually enjoying my breakfast again; it isnt huge amounts, but I feel it is setting me up for the day!

Fruit is a good thing, esp the banana as it keeps you going for longer too.

Dont keep beating yourself up; think back to what you used to have and what you have now! I bet it differs a LOT!

You are doing so well and are proof that this maintaining malarky can be done :)!!
