Morning Ladies!!!

Bloody Brilliant weekend!!!!!!!!!!! The weather was fab! Cloudy but atleast there was no rain!

I have eaten and drank for England so when i hopped on the scales this morning there was a gain. Back to the grapevine today with documenting all me food though. Got my mum and dads wedding anniversary today, be giving them the cake this afternoon. Then my dad's surprise party saturday night! Its guna be a real struggle this week to stay on track because of this and i don't have work so am still feeling all holidayish! :giggle: But i have that damn dress to fit into on saturday so i must must must be super good! The other thing is heartburn! I suffered very bad with this over the weekend and i think it was down to me drinking pure orange juice every single morning. I'd have like half a carton. Anyone know if this can cause it? like the acid in it or summat?

Was so tired after the weekend, i had only had 15hours sleep from friday to monday so last night i went to bed at 9pm and got up today at 10am! We also went to an american diner place on the way home yesterday, it was delish!!! I had a minted lamb burger, fries and salad. But my desert was the one! It was 2 waffles, drenched in maple syrup, whipped cream, vanilla icecream and seasonal berries! :drool: It was spanking! I couldnt eat it all, my bf had some and there was still some left on the plate!!!! lol

oh, your weekend sounded BRILLIANT Tanya......and no wonder you had a gain with that dessert (JELOUS)! It looks scrummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would say the Orange juice is the culprit! I have the exact same problem and it is because of the acidity of the oranges. It probably didnt help if you were eating other things that your body isnt so used to and guzzling that old booze too

Hope you feel rested now!!!! Ready for the next party Cant wait to hear all about your mum and dad's reaction to the cake!!!

Arrr it was brilliant. It was me, the bf, mum and dad and my mums friend and family. It was such a nice weekend. I love little family weekends like that! :giggle:

So today:

Tuesday 1st June

B- 2 slices wholemeal toast with peanut butter

L- slice of cheese, packet hula hoops, 2 caramel digestives.

D- mums making cheese and potato pie so will munch some of that with some vegetables. 1/2 slice bread

*3 biiiiiig slices of cake!

Oh......really pleased for you and for them too! 25 yrs!..phew.....

well, you did make it! And you normally do so well with not eating all the cakes you make! I would eat it too, hence why I dont bake

They were only 20 and 21 Iris! a couple weeks (i think) after they got married they moved to Gibraltar then 2 years later along came moi! :giggle:

That photo is great Tanya, really reminds me of my first wedding. My cake was very similar to that too! We also moved to Gibraltar after a couple of years and I had my youngest daughter there.
