Glad the party was a great success! Sounds as though you had a wonderful time (and your dad too!). So nice when family gets together after a long time, bet it was great.
 
Ow ladies. Its miserable here today. Hopped on the scales and its showing more gain. Im guessing thats carb overload from the weekend.

Got my shuttle run for the specials on wednesday. Theyre going to weigh me and take a fat roll test (or whatever it is) :( :( :( :( stoopid f*****g bmi f*****g chart! The more i think about it the more i get wound up over it and feel like a big failure. :mad:

On a lighter note, me and the bf are looking at hols for Lanzarote for next year - anyone been? Any good?

Monday 7th June

B- 2 slices wholemeal toast 1 with peanut butter 1 with butter.

L- 4 thin slices french baguette, 2 slices ham, 2 slices cheese, garlic & herb dressing.

D- healthier choice coop fish pie & salad. 2 spoonfulls of special fried rice & 5 mini spring rolls (the family got chinese for tea!)

In work - melon & pineapple.

S- 2 slices cake, hula hoops, mini crunchie & mini fudge

*1litre water
*2 black coffees with sweetener

Never been to Lanzarote Tanya, so cant help.

Aww chick, I hear your frustration with this test you have to do, and I totally agree with you, sodding BMI.......who suggested a number anyway! Just looked at your pics on FB and you look fabulous.

Obviously you will gain after the carb over-load, but come on, back on track today, remember the foursome.
 
Don't you go worrying about a little gain Tanya, you were bound to with what you had going on over the weekend.

Please don't feel like a failure. I just showed someone in the office your before and after photo and they couldn't believe it was the same person. They said you've lost a whole person in weight! Which you have. Stay positive, cos the Police should be very glad to have someone like you wanting to join.
 
Delighted that the party went off so well. It must have been so wonderful for you and your Mum to see how your Dad reacted. Well done you for doing a fab job organising it.
Lots of luck for the test this week. Just do your best, that is you can do.
Back on the straight and narrow now as you've got to shift the pounds.

Duno how im guna cope tonight though. Got work then have to stay up tomorrow so i know i will sleep tomorrow evening as my run is at 9:30 wednesday morning so i managed to wangle tomorrow night off work so i don't have to do it straight from work. So keeping busy tomorrow and trying not to eat from sheer boredom will be a struggle.

I feel so down about my weight now. I really just want to be back to where i finished in november! Damn you 17lbs! :giggle:
 
Absolutely, I agree with Bev. It will soon come off now you are getting back on track.

Try and keep busy tomorrow, have a pamper night, paint your toenails, fingernails, any nails, have a long hot soak, just have some ME TIME.

I bet it'll be much better than you're expecting, try not to stress to much hon.

I wouldn't recommend you stay up right through hon - have a few hours at least. If you get yourself OVER tired your body will be functioning on nervous energy and you won;t be able to get to sleep tomorrow night. Have a couple of hours just to take the edge off the tiredness. That'd be my advice anyway. Feel free to ignore me (who? ;)) xx
 
Would never ignore ya Jan! Infact i have taken yer advice (i must be psychic) as i decided about an hour ago i was going to have a couple hours kip, probably around 3/4 hours in the morning and get up at midday so then hopefully will still sleep tomorrow evening.

I think this weekend has been a right off. I think deep down i knew it would be total carnage! Tomorrow after i get up will be the fresh start. These 17lbs have to go asap! :)
 
That's the spirit Tanya. Once you get through Wed you will be back totally on track and will deal with the 17lbs. Thinking positive thoughts for you!!!
 
awww.... Tanya....just keep looking at your profile pics and what you used to look like and what you look like now! You have come such a long long way and should be so proud of yourself.

I know what you mean about the BMI, but stupidly and unfortunately the majority of blooming organisations, etc still follow this! Why, is beyond me, but they do!! But, dont allow that to make you feel down, etc......you have to pick yourself up and think positive thoughts...dont let negativity drag you down!!!!

YOU CAN DO IT! YOU HAVE SHOWN WHAT YOU CAN DO WHEN YOU PUT YOUR MIND TO THINGS!!! WE ARE ALLLLLLLL WILLING YOU ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND BELIEVE IN YOU :)

Glad you have taken Jan's advice as you would be not worth a button if you didnt get some kip!

You had a good weekend and it has gone and you have wonderful memories..just focus now on what needs doing for Wednesday..but keep looking forward sweetie!

Ah I'm glad you've decided to get a bit of kip - I know it's the right thing to do. I can sleep for England normally - I got up at 5pm on saturday and went back to bed about midnight & slept fine. I don't like getting up in the mornings though! ;) xx
 
Tan, thats what I always do after my nightshift. I sleep from 7-Midday and then go about my usual activities.

I dont have any problem sleeping at night then.
 
So, managed to leave work at 4am last night which meant i was home and asleep by 6 and i got up at 11:15. Feel fine. Just hope i sleep tonight. Am very nervous about tomorrow though :(

Am off shopping later get me some salad stuff, fruit and some vegetables. Not got much in now as havnt done a proper shop in a while. Time to get the butt in gear!

Tuesday 8th June

B- bran flakes & s.smilk

L- tuna & sweetcorn salad.

D- grilled mull of kintyre cheddar beefburger in wholemeal bun & oven chips. Ex light mayo.

7 strawberries & ww peach yog afters

S- slice of cake. packet snack a jacks.
