Ooooh so exciting. This time next week chick........I will probably shed loads of tears for you.

oh this time next week i would have probably shed a load of tears and be well on my way to 'drunk' I can't believe its now less that 1 week away. I can't believe i'm actually going to run a half marathon.

I think the thing that will get me crying is when I cross that line just realising how far i've come. Even now thinking about it I cant quite believe it.

Today stevie bought me a drink out when I got back and said well done to me and I told him my time and said I wanted a bit quicker and he said tan it doesnt matter if you walk across that line i'll be there cheering for you!! awwwwwwwwwwwwww lol

Awww now i'm in a reflective mood! This time last year I think I had only just passed the specials bleep test after being told I was actually obese (dont get me started lol) but when I now look I think wow i've been doing it for 5months now and i'm about to take on the toughest sporting challenge of my life so far - its crazy. For a girl who used to skive out of PE at every single opportunity and when I couldnt used to sit there and do nothing but chat i've not done too bad since losing weight

Ok, reflection over I think I need more wine ................ x

Well I agree with Stevie, I dont care what time is on that clock when you finish. I can understand your motivation though, and for that reason, I hope you get in the time that you want.

Don't you DARE shut up!! Tan - we have all been on this journey with you! However there are those of us (like me!) who will never get as far as you've been able to go. You are the way we would like to be given half a chance. When we get to a certain age/stage we have to accept that we can't do everything we might have once dreamed of ... but you still can!! You are doing it!!! Don't decry our pride in you my darling - You ARE IT as far as we're concerned.

Okay I have a marathon runner for a son and I'm very proud if him. However I'm MORE proud of you because you've had soooo much more to overcome!!!

As far as I'm concerned you've already achieved your goals but I'll still be rooting for you on Sunday and gagging to hear how you do xxx
