Home from work & munched 6slices of wafer thin ham (44) a mini babybel (61) and a handful of salted peanuts....... Stupid stupid stupid!!

Shift this evening so will keep me from this pickiness that seems to have taken over this week!! X
 
We-eeeeell - could've been a lot worse. Only the nuts not too hot and even then - you haven't got VERY big hands ;).

Well done on the loss this week Tanya, you may only consider them small losses, but they're all taking you in the right direction. Slow and steady, the best way!
 
Yep, got actual work after my shift :( booooo!!!

Friday 20th May

B- special k, s.smilk (262)

L- spicy chicken tortellini, lettuce, cucumber, spring onions, garlic full fat mayo:eek: (453)

D- ham, salami, lettuce, coleslaw wm roll. Packet lf crinkle crisps (407)

*banana (105)
*mcvities choc digestive (84)

Total = 1,311

*far too low on calories today. Will see what time i finish shift to see if I can add in anything else. There is some tortellini left in the fridge so if I have time when I finish I will have that when I get home & take my roll to work with me.

Hi Tanya - I have a question :)

When u started running were your legs sore for a couple of days after? Since running at bootcamp on wednesday my thighs are really hurting - like I can hardly walk lol
 
Hmmm no Hun. But I was doing couch to 5k when I started which involved a 5minute warm up and a 5minute cool down and not alot of running.

But now after my long runs, even with cool down stretches I find the next day I am a little stiff but on my calfs more so than my thighs.

Did the class give you cool down stretches to do? I imagine they did with it being an exercise class. But there are certain stretches you can do specifically for your thighs If you find that's the muscles that ache but it might not stop all the aches just help them to not ache so much iykwim!

And besides, no pain no gain :giggle: I'm sure the aches are because you're not used to it once you've been doing it a while you'll probably find you won't ache so much :)

Come to think about it there were squats etc along with the running - think I need another couple of days rest lol.. I'm sure it doesn't help when I'm sat at a desk all day then hurts when I stand lol x

Back by 11 so enough time to have the tortellini. Cals a bit over today - whoops!

Very excited about the race! Driving around this evening whilst on shift I saw all the road signs warning people of road closures & delays on the 29th due to the half marathon!!!!! :p

Yes yes yes to the butterflies, everywhere we drove in the city centre had road signs up. I cant believe how excited I am about it! LOL I'm sorry but for the next week I feel this is all you guys are going to read about in here lol

Oooooh you guys I want to see LOTS of pictures even ones of yous after a few voddies at monday club!!! Best have a little voddie toast for me!! hehe :giggle: x

Its my Sat and Sun nightshift too, so I will be in bed for a good part of it. What time does the race start Tanya?
 
8:30am !!!!!!!!!!!! it was originally 9am but it got changed for some reason which is why im having a practice run this weekend, up early tomorrow then early to bed so im going to get up sunday as if it were race day and do my long run.
 
Make sure you update your Facebook as soon as you are finished then, and I will log on as soon as I am out of bed. Cant wait to read your thoughts on the race, and your feelings afterwards will be something you will remember for the rest of your life.

Your Nan will be with you every step of the way chick xx
 
Haha yeah it'll be on fb pretty soon after all family want to know too and there on there!

Up today after 3.5hours sleep. To say i'm knackered is an understatement i'm litterally holding my eyelids open! :p

Food today, picked again. This picking has to stop. Also, having butter with lunch again, had that everyday this week I think so must keep an eye on this too.

Atleast I should get an okish sleep tonight. Got my last long run tomorrow before actual race which i'm going to get up just after 7, have breakfast then head out for my run at 8:30 like I would next week.

Saturday 21st May

B- 2slices wm toast, 2eggs scrambled, butter, oj (441)

L/D- baked chicken with garlic wrapped in 1rasher smoked bacon, garlic butter baby potatoes & brocolli (472)

*chipsticks (107)
*1/2 curly wurly (58)
*couple handfuls doritos (150)

*300ml bottle of bud

Total = 1,228 (without bud)
