Treasure those friends hon. I lost my oldest friend a couple of years ago and I soooo miss having someone with all that shared history. I really miss her. So make sure you keep up to date with them .. never leave room for any regrets :) xx
 
Great pic Tanya, looks as though you all had a really good night out. Like others have said, it's always nice to catch up with good friends.

Tan glad you had a lovely time out. Don't worry about getting your card out. My ex was a police officer and everywhere he went he would flash his card and say what discount can you give me! Was so embarrassing!!!

Glad you found some people at work that you get on well with- makes all the difference x
 
Run today. I'm just going to get out there, turn off the voice that tells me milage, time & pace and just run. Ankle still isnt good but it is better. But if it starts to hurt I shall stop.

Food looks great. Run plan is great. Take the pressure off by forgetting times etc when your ankle is bad is a good idea. Just run to keep up the fitness.
 
Run was ok. Decided to run a different route, seemed like it helped as I got my fastest pace time again in 5runs, that coupled with turning off the voice seems to work.

Ran 3.39miles, 40:02mins, pace 11:47 and burnt 435cals.

Ankle was ok. I am defo more aware of the way I run and cannot wait to get my new runners. Todays run was the last in my old trainers just circuits tomorrow in them then I can say goodbye :)

I didnt get the buzz back whilst running but I defo had the buzz back when I had finished. I have missed that feeling!!
 
Ooooh & i got my fastest 1mile time 9:54 !!!!!!!
I'm amazed but realise I do need to slow it down when starting off, I need to find my pace again so that i'm not flagging after a couple of miles.
 
Thanks Kelly. I wouldn't say I exercise alot, I exercise 3x a week for anywhere between 40mins-1hour. But for the past couple of weeks it has only been 2x a week.
 
Theres going to be no circuits tomorrow, i'm needed for a shift. As many hands on deck are needed right now here in Plymouth and if there was ever a reason to miss circuits this is it!

One good thing, unless I decide to run on monday before I go away then i'll be giving my ankle a whole 8days rest! :)

Tan, good luck for the shift. Be careful, there will be a lot if anti police sentiment right now. Is there any unrest in your town at the minute?

Fantastic outlook on the running Tan - no point in all that pressure if it ends up affecting you negatively. The new runners will make all the difference - can't wait to see what you think. I know DD can't believe the difference! They're sooo worth the money.

There is nothing going on here in plymouth just they have sent officers to London so are short and they just want a high presence about the city I imagine :)

I have just arranged to go for a run with a friend, well I say friend he is an ex and he messaged me and asked me about the 10k run, got speaking and telling him i feel ive lost the buzz and need a push he said he feels the same so we've agreed to meet monday morning 9:30 to do a 4mile run. Ive told him though I am slow, v.slow compared to him he's in the navy and can run sub 7min miles. So hopefully this might help a little, having someone to push me along, oh and the new runners, don't forget the new runners!!!

edit: change of plan, not having a meal bar im going to have one of the "just" bars I bought yesterday. This one is mixed grains, brazil nuts, almonds, apricots & raisens. Its quite a chunky bar and looks quite filling :)

Sounds like a nice bar Tan - is it meal replacement? ie is it one I could have - you know how I eat at the mo.

Good plan to run with someone else. Is Stevie okay with you running with an 'ex'? Good for him if so :D xx
