I really don't know how many syns were in lunch but it is in the calorie controlled section of the menu! It was really yummy and I was full after a quarter of it but I don't like wasting food and I didn't want to carry it around for the rest of the day, so I paced myself and finished it. Not planning on eating anything heavy between now and the morning, I want to weigh in tomorrow...

Yesterday was WI day...

Got up, was STARVING, didn't even drink any water in anticipation of WI! Got to Boots, stripped down, STS, little bit annoyed. Had promised myself an off day, so...

Breakfast
- leftover pizza

Lunch
- nando's spicy mixed nuts appeteaser, prego steak roll (no cheese) with chips, water

Dessert
- choc fudge cake with cookies n cream ice cream (one scoop)

Got home feeling extremely hot and dizzy, never actually felt like this before but due * week and had walked a lot so...

Snack
- crumpet with 1 lc light triangle

Everyone went out around 6ish, iron shopping and football, made dinner and waited for everyone to come back so we could eat together but in the meantime, had...

Snack
- scrambled egg in frylight with cheese

Dinner
- roti with butter (first time in AGES) and daal and chutney

Snack
- semi skimmed milk with 3 ginger biscuits

Could have been worse, I could have overloaded myself with a lot more chocolate but after the really rich cake... just wasn't in the mood.

Right, as a temporary measure put a bit of vaseline on the bit of the shoe that rubs on your skin & keep a small pot in your hand bag to top up. This softens the leather and stops it rubbing your skin raw. Hope you have a fab time at the party tomorrow. I want to see photos! xx

Hiya loves :)

Long extended weekend of naughty foods, two birthday parties and a meal out. No more! I feel icky and my tummy hurts. * week started yesterday just after the party, only had about half an hour of pain this morning but nipped it in the bud with some mefanamic acid and a bit of silent wriggling on the sofa...

Big love to my Lady A for the text that came through about an hour ago, just what I needed xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I was absolutely fine without Vaseline! 3 hours of running around after kids and my feet are still intact :D I wanna email you pics! xxx

:D

Hope you've had a good weekend in spite of the STS. It'll come off next week, I know it :)x

I wanna kick myself for the pizza! I've had quite a bit of it this weekend, not happy about that! But I'll tell you something, I watched Biggest Loser USA on Saturday morning and I thought seriously, I can't man the eff up and walk on a sore foot when an old guy is doing push ups and all the rest of it on a bad knee? And I also discovered that Rice Krispies with coooold milk and blueberries is a WICKED breakfast.

My contract is finally coming to an end this week...so will have to get together some time in May- my treat :)

Hi! If you mean the roti with butter, it was literally just roti with butter lol, no paratha... And unfortunately that was all in one day  The rest of the weekend consisted of pizza and kebabs and Lebanese food :p

I'm trying to revise but finding it really difficult what with people coming and going all the time, and I'm not feeling so great lately either - my knee is really sore and I keep getting headaches, feeling weak etc... Hoping to get a doctor's appointment in the morning for a blood test and to see what's going on with my knee, I haven't done any strenuous exercise in ages!

The munchies have hit and I really would like them to please go away until dinner time!

Contemplating some Success Express days to kickstart my losses but can't help but feel as though it'll only be a temporary loss, before I put whatever I lose after a good SE week back on again. I think the weekend trip to London has been postponed, which gives me extra time to revise and no excuse for messing around with my food. My brothers won't be at school, so just have to make sure that snacks are kept well out of my reach! Might get some ingredients for the recipes in the new mag, nothing has really caught my eye... To anyone who has read it, can you recommend something you think I'd like? I'd ask out on the boards but I guess if you come in here, you read what I eat, so...!

Oooh just heard the first grumble of the afternoon, I was expecting it to be louder than that! I see some melon from the corner of my eye, might cut some up into really small pieces and munch on it while making a salad for this evening. Really not in the mood to do any work, I'm a night-bird (owl then!) when it comes to revision but having a hard time this time around as early mornings mean early nights!

Went to the doctors a few hours ago about my knee - looks like a trapped ligament? Ibuprofen, lots of. And a knee support, which I forgot to pick up earlier so heading back out for it now. Also asked for a full blood test to be done as I think I'm anaemic... It runs in the family, I used to be tested every six months but nothing for the past five years, it's about time! We're also quite low on B12, as a family, so it might just be that... Really don't fancy another trip to the shop now, might just ask my brother to go instead... I wonder how much bribing it will take!

Hope you had Lady A's hunger busting fruit n cha & not something naughty little un and said :nono: to the naughty snacks.

I'm on iron tablets too hence why lamb is cooked so much in my house but I prefer the sauce in curries to the meat. However, I did make some yum yum chicken tikkies today...they were sooooooooo soft n syn free :eating:

I was thinking about doing a recipe out of the mag...all of the mirangues look nice so may give them a go on sunday. The mediterranean tray bake looks good but I heard it's best to par boil the potatoes as the timings aren't right. The curries look rank....ESPECIALLY the saag gosht. My saag don't and won't ever look like that :snooty:

:hmm: Now personally I would do success express while I had exam stress as it's quite strict and you don't want to stress yourself out too much. I would stick to EE, red or green as you can eat more if you get the munchies whilst revising and if you eat well then hopefully you'll have more energy to put into your studies. I think you mentioned your exams being in may which isn't that far away so you can concentrate on success express after that. It's totally up to you though and if you feel you can cope with it then go for it I just wouldn't want to be distracted by my diet while studying that's all.

:hug99: Juppees for the sore knee hope you feel better soon.
