Thank you, I really needed this. :hug99: People just really irritate me sometimes, I wish they could see it isn't as easy as pie to be happy in your own skin. Other people have things they're insecure about, like their laugh or their knobbly knees. Mine is my weight and the way I slot into my family, and if I can do something about it, I damn right will!

Honestly, thank you so much for your words, I did calm down a lot when I read your post and really appreciated the time you took to reply :) xxx

And you remember these words any time anyone says or does anything to you x

YUMMY NOODLES!
Takes about 10 mins to make!
0 syns on EE and Green :D

Ingredients (generous portions to serve two):
- 3 nests Sharwood's medium egg noodles
- 1/2 tin chopped tomatoes
- 1/2 tin baked beans in tomato sauce
- Handful of mixed peppers, thickly chopped
- 1 carrot, grated
- Handful of cabbage, finely sliced
- 1/2 red onion, finely sliced
- 2 chicken stock cubes
- 1/2 level tsp salt, to season

To serve:
- Steamed green beans
- Diced cucumber
*optional yummy extras*
- 1 LC light triangle (1 syn)
- Dried basil/parsley/coriander

Method:
1) Boil the noodles in a large pan of hot water, use a little bit more than instructed, for 3-4 mins.
2) As the water starts to dry, crumble in one of the stock cubes and leave for 1-2 mins on medium-low heat.
3) Add the chopped tomatoes, beans, peppers, carrot, cabbage and red onion, stir well and leave on medium heat for 2-3 mins.
4) Season with salt, to taste, and add the second stock cube, crumbled, before stirring lightly and removing from the heat.
5) Eat!

Oh they were... How I wish I'd made more! Well, I did, but I dished up for my mum and bro too! No complaints :p

Thanks Jen :) I feel like a completely different person too. Gosh, this time last year I was so miserable. I remember my aunties came up from London for a long weekend, I had a long chat in my head told myself I was starting a healthy eating plan the next morning. This was at about 9pm. An hour later, my sister comes home with a box of Krispy Kreme doughnuts and off we went. The silly thing is, it always starts with a knife in the box and 'I'll have half', and turns into 'Let's finish the box for breakfast!' NO MORE!

Lots and lots of love, and big big hugs to my favourite list-maker xxxxx

With the amount of fruit and veg I have had in the past six days, I'd think to think I will have lost lots :) However, I have barely been out of the house, so the lack of body magic is probably going to counter-act that - grrr! But but but but but BUT I have acknowledged this and if I don't do so great whenever I weigh in, it doesn't matter, because I can stay on track and I will! Brother's 16th birthday on Thursday, I am not going to f*ck around with food, I will be good, I might have some cake but I will be good!

Sat with papers all over the dining table *polishes halo*

Thanks for the kick! I wondered if anyone would pick up on it, so glad you did! xxx

Your lunch looks lovely, although I didn't enjoy quorn mince when I tried it- too bland :s

Hi beautiful! I know what you mean about it being bland, but mum was making keemo aaloo for everyone else and I thought I might aswell have it at the same time as the rest of them. Not a fan of Quorn mince, but I did ask my sister to pick some Quorn stuff up if she saw it on offer anywhere... must start exploring Quorn choices more! I did add two chicken stock cubes in (they're my saviour at the moment!) which definitely helped, and I think the smell of the actual chicken keema aaloo helped too! Except there was a hell of a lot of the big stuff in the real one, you know, the big ilaichi and the daal chini! Eeee yuck :jelous: So glad I only added a couple of kaali mirchis to mine :p xxx

I'm struggling right now as I have been babysitting and tutoring for quite a few hours - there have been chocolate covered raisins, chocolate covered peanuts bubblegum flavoured fizzy coke bottles, Skittles, Twirls, chocolate sandwich biscuits, marble sponge cake, lemon drizzle cake, custard...!! And now my brother's tutor is here, which means dinner won't be happening until he leaves... SO hungry! Have already planned my dessert for tonight and am really looking forward to it, but desperately need to find a way of keeping my hunger at bay while I'm revising :( Tips? xxx

Hmmmm....make the 12 syn sponge cake from the recipe thread and add a few drops of Lemon extract and it tastes like madeira cake. It takes 11 mins to bake in the oven and tastes yum. I put 14 tbsp of canderel in it though but it tastes wicked with tea or ice cream. Don't bother with the filling and save 2 syns so it's 1.5 syns for 1/6 of the cake. Do some green days and make some channa chaat to dip into when the munchies strike you could crush some ready salted baked crisps onto it to give it a low syn crunch. Make some sugar free jelly and have jelly n ice cream. Get some sugar free strawberry crusha and make a milkshake by using ur HexA milk allowance and add a scoop of wall's soft scoop light to make it taste yum! You may have guessed by now that ice cream is my crack lol!

Try planning a few days meals & snacks in advance as you'll know exactly what you need to be eating and won't reach for the naughty stuff when your struggling to think of what to eat. Hope this helps! xx

Aw no :( Hope you feel better this morning. Lots of water and a walk in the fresh air please x

And some broccoli for lunch - Broccoli cures all ills :)
