20 somethings

Emily don't discount yourself you did wonderfully well and we are all proud of you. Oh, and I picked up a boost today, saw the cals and put it right back! Mm, boost.

Scarlet, I've just finished writing out our meals for the week. Though I am too lazy to plan snacks, I usually just have fruit in those times, or cooked meat on ee/red days. Planning really does help me stay on track, as much as possible.

Harley, my consultant has been a consultant for 19 years. I think sw has been around for 40 years.
 
I lost 1.5lbs. Brought me into the 15s which is good, but 1lb shy of my 4.5 stone award (boo) which I really wanted this week. Got to try to get 2lbs this week - minimum loss for everyone at our group next week. I just am trying to focus on all the good things so far because I am a bit pissed off at my loss as I've worked really hard. If I lose 2lbs next week then i'll match my first 4 weeks loss and that will hopefully give me a second wind. Feeling good and carp at the same time :/

I'm a moaning bum. Worried for the rest of my quail, if the rats know they are there they will be back :(
 
Hi everyone, I gained 1lb this week, totally expected, and should have been a bit more had I not hammered the gym and reclaimed some of it back! So really I shouldn't complain. Am actually quite pleased, its my 1st gain since I started 14 weeks ago, so I can live with a pound on every three months!

I am shattered tonight, going to watch Im a Celeb then fall asleep.
Going to plan all of my meals etc up until Sunday, am going to a wedding all day and night on Sat, so going to stick to it food wise, and hopefully drinks that day wont make too much difference.

Glad you are feeling so positive Laura. It isn't the gain that is important, it is the week following it, how you bounce back. I thonk you'll be great. Have fun on Saturday! All these weddings going on!

Thanks Fran, you are honestly a huge motivation and inspiration to me! You're doing amazing!!

Just planned tomorrows meals so I'm feeling pretty good, and got lunch done for the day after too :) xx

Aww thanks hun you are very sweet. I just have so much to lose I can't afford to fail. I have been informed this week if i try to leave group they will kidnap me. This was after telling the scales were stupid.... This was from a different woman who punched me for gaining one week. Honest come to my group they will terrorize you on to plan! It isn't motivation it is fear!

Planning is everything for me else i bugger myself over. I can't think on the spot so anything (read everything) gets shoved in my mouth. And Woop parents are doing the shopping again this week, but boo, I have no meat on the list because I planned it from stuff in the freezer. Have another 2 green days planned this week, mum's demanding pitta pizza again this week. Oh and after 2 days of dad pulling a face and constantly asking what's for tea (hoping I wouldn't say mushy pea curry each time) I told him he could have something else but he could bloody cook it himself. Turned out he'd rather eat whatever i have made. And surprise surprise they both liked it and cleared their plates.

Thinking of swapping syn free weekends to doing high syn, low syn alternate days. Today was high syn (Mmm peanut butter kit kat chunky). good job I only bought one! *scoff* I did have 4 rocky road hifi bars too as my 2 hebs. How shameful!
 
Feels naughty, but it's all on plan!

I'm doing a few low syn days this week as I'm out for my dad's birthday tomorrow and I'm meant to be going on to a joint birthday party/welcome back from 3 months in Hong Kong party. My friend who's doing the Cambridge Diet will be there and she won't be drinking, so I'm hoping to join her. My dad's will be more difficult because he and my brother will want me to try expensive red wines and the syns rack up there!

Early early start for me today so I disappeared to bed very early last night. I really needed it.

I've decided that if I manage not to drink at the party on Fri I'm using my saved syns on a Peanut KitKat Chunky. :)
 
Well girls I'm flabbergasted! Wi this morning puts me at 11st13.5lbs! That's 1.5lbs off this week! Not sure i believe them!

Woohoo Scarlett! There is only a half lb difference between us now! Lets help each other get to the tens?? If you want to get into the tens that is haha! Xx

Well ladies, during my commute to work today I am being a little philosophical, and have come to the conclusion that ...

Gaining 1lb this week has motivated me to get back on plan, and also made me assess how realistic the goals I set myself are...

E.g. Wanting to lose 11.5lbs in the 6 weeks leading up to Xmas, to get my 2.5stone award... normally for me this would be a reasonable 6 week challenge, however I know how much I have planned over the busy season, and am not willing to totally put things on hold to lose weight. It took me a good while to put it on, so I'm on with having a little slow down over the festive period!

What I am not willing to do however, is gain, and so I've given myself the new target of losing 4lbs between now and Xmas. This is 1lb a week and would get me my 2 stone award, leaving 3stone to lose after Xmas. I am happy with this, and feel it is achievable.

What are your Xmas goals? Xxx

Laura, I think resetting your target to something achievable is a great idea. I have 1lb left for my Xmas challenge and Xmas wish, but I have 2.5lbs left for our 10lb challenge at group. My c is still thinking I should aim for 8lbs for Xmas (yeah right!) and the whole class has been set a minimum 2lb loss for next week. So lots of aims but all quite low, that way any extra is a happy bonus. Here is to your 4lbs for Xmas!
 
I went AWOL again. Sorry guys. I really should give you my mobile number to harass me lol.

Big Chinese lunch in work yesterday. Still feeling crap with the cold so I joined in. Hmph.

No syns for the rest of the week except maybe 1 for a baked potato or 0.5 for a yoghurt. No big syns. Promise!
 
Sorry i went awol and haven't caught up will work through the pages in a bit.

news on me front i have new scales :), i guess as we didn't have any so it should really be i have scales yay :)
and i have lost 3lb in 2 weeks not sure if that is good or bad as all i have eaten is rubbish because i can't keep real food down still but its better than gaining
