20 somethings

ooh lovely Jo :) We have one tree up but it's not decorated. Just been told we're not decorating it with the children's decorations but in orange grey and something else. boo. Stupid stylish tree, I want a proper christmas tree. Last year's was epic. oh well, she'll be putting up at least two others so all december we get "put the lights on" and "turn the lights off" even though no one has gone in those rooms. pointless.

Knitting is going well tonight. Finished the first part of the pattern and it looks so pretty, can't believe I knitted it. :) Still got plenty enough to get on with though. Then I have to knit a second one. haha. plenty to occupy my mind though, not just knit and purl. All sorts of effects in it. Ciara, I think knitting is a thing where when you really really want to learn you will do. I focused on learning properly when I was carrying Ol' Stinky. Finally picked something for me from mum now. she's going to get me a set of bamboo needles and a case :)

Yum toast. I'm not hungry these evening thankfully! only had half a syn today. woop.

Serial weighed earlier as it is mid-weigh-week but it wouldn't stabilize, so could be anything from a 2lb loss to a 1lb gain. stupid scales.

Just home from my cousin's houseparty - feeling very pleased with myself because his gf, who works for Vivienne Westwood, said she loved my outfit and how 'understated on-trend' I was! I've never been trendy in my life! Annoyingly I've snagged my new top on my ring a couple of times already and pulled it. :(

I survived popcorn, Pringles, Doritos, M&S chocolate biscuit selections, shots and cocktails and only caved to one Cadbury's chocolate Finger at 1.5 syns. 6.5 syns for the day so I'm pretty pleased with myself for what could've been a very naughty weekend! I'm just hoping the good behaviour pays off - I'd love to edge into the 10s this week.

Lovely to hear about all the Christmas decorating! I bought my cousin a mini living Christmas tree - they're only £3 in Tesco! I think we might go to Homebase tomorrow and get a little 3ft tree. John has a big artificial one but I like a real one. We have some cute red, burgundy, cream and grey reindeer decorations to add this year. Can't wait!

Morning guys going to make a conscious effort to try and pop in more often. Love the Christmas trees, Jo and well done on behaving so well Lyrically.

Was my WI today and lost 1lb. 3.5lb to target, though I feel I'll end up having to make it lower but that can wait til after Christmas.
Hoping to have my first on plan Sunday in weeks. Wish me luck.

Well done jenna, so close now! X

Emily you've been so good well done you! You should be proud, I've been much naughtier than you just sitting on my couch!

Well done Jenna, hope you're feeling proud of yourself, you've done so well and should be proud x

Off for a run again ladies I haven't gone out the door yet and I'm feeling cold!

Thanks ladies, ciara you're insane. No word of a lie I'm sitting in bed with a hat and scarf on...not even considering going outside...we've ran out of oil lol roll on the delivery tomorrow! That's my major downfall at the mo, exercise is non existent but I don't honestly imagine ill pick it up before the new year so I'm embracing laziness right now. Enjoy your run.

I genuinely think I am insane Jenna. So so cold. It was a short one, 15-20 mins, but its something! This time of year its nearly impossible to think about exercise.

Congratulations on your loss, Jenna! Target is so tantalisingly close! At least enjoy that target for a bit when you get there!

Ciara, I have to agree that you're mad! My friend went for a run the other day and was finding the cold air so painful to breathe that she ended up detouring to her gym and finishing the run on the treadmill!

Wearing one of the new size 12 jumpers today and feeling more proud of myself. I've realised I need to go bra shopping because I must have at least gone down a back size! I might wait until they remeasure us in group before Christmas so I have a proper back size to work from.

I can actually fit a full 2 fists in each cup at the min!! But going to wait until the sales to buy any bras as I'm hoping to shrink more by target, so just want some to tide me over xxx

I used to be a 36B (although I think I probably had my back size all wrong) and then I was a 36C until I admitted defeat and accepted I'd gained weight. I finally bought a load of new bras in the sales that were 38Cs and Ds but now they're gaping on me! It's a nice feeling because I get very self conscious of.my boobs and it's so hard to find things that fit without stretching to see-thru!

I tried to measure myself the other week and I think I'm a 35 underbust - which is annoying! I'm hoping to get into 34s for the first time in my life!

I was a 36/36HH, thinking I'm probably around an F cup now...I hope!! Haven't been an F since I was about 18 haha!

Have just made an enormous batch of carrot, swede and potato soup to try for some damage limitation after Thursdays BICCYS and Fridays wine!! WI on Tues, would like at least 0.5lb off this week, then need two more between now and Xmas/new year to get my 2 stone award!

Like you Jenna I refuse to put too much pressure on myself to lose weight in the run up to Xmas, if I can get my 2stone award whilst still having a few treats here and there I will be over the moon, and more fool anyone who tries to get in my way come January, cos I want that last 3 stone demolished by the summer! Size 10 shorts WILL be mine haha!!

Xxx

Ciara, yep you are mad but it is impressive you are doing it, so well done you loon.

Nice to see you jenna :) a HUGE well done on your loss. I agree to try to stay at Target for a while. It'll let your head catch up with your body. We don't want you to disappear in a breeze!

You guys could always measure yourselves. I have a simple fabric tape measure, they're often in sewing kits but you can pick them up on their own cheap enough. This is why i know when i've lost an inch :) I hate my boobs though, they are having a race as to which can reach my knees first. Thankfully they can be bundled into a bra pretty easily. I'm a 38D and yet my mother goes on about how they have shrunk and are tiny now :/ she is a GG though, Haha, she looks like a pair of boobs on legs. I'm the opposite, pear-shaped. That said I'm 38D, 33" waist and 43" hips, so i am starting to balance out! I never got measured when I joined and it was only just before I lost 2 stone I saw the collumn and my waist was 41" and hips 52" so now my hips are almost what my waist was! Still huge though!

Wow loads to catch up on!

Laura- you look fab! Dress is a gorgeous colour- hope you had a good time

Emily- you look great too! Love your top- where is it from? and I would also like your legs please :)

Ciara- I weill echo the others, youre nuts but very impressive! I get cold looking out the window so def wouldnt fancy a run, although I used to enjoy running till I got a stress fracture, will take it up again some day I'm sure!

Jenna- woop woop well done hun! so close now!! xx

Fran- your posts always make me giggle! your bra post reminded me of a birthday card I saw once where the woman had rolled her boobs up to fit in the bra lol!

talking bras all my fat bras are now gaping- dug out an old one that ive only actually worn once as it was too tight when i got it but its white with different shades of pink heart all over it with pink straps- so pretty so didnt want to throw it away! Tried it today and it fits perfectly! label says its a 38D but im sure thats what some of my fab bras were, maybe its cos its a different style or from a different shop.

Ooh also I serial weighed this morning and I was 11st11! that matched the lightest ive been since starting sw, just before I went to kos in may :) went up and up after that so will be so happy if I can get back to that in the next couple of weeks! :)

The baileys mousses were amazing!! the recipe made 4 but mike doesnt like pudding so theres one left over....shame hey? got my eye on it for later! The lasagne was yummy too,, had a lovely evening with my bro and sis in law, ended up getting a bit tiddled and teaching my sister in law how to play poker- we went £2.50 in each and I won! woohoo! only a tenner but I never win at cards as i normally get too cocky with my betting when ive had a drink but it went in my favour last night! :) was a great evening.

It's tree day!! Im so excited!!!!!! will post pics later
xxx
