Erm... kids stuck at home I cant help with as I only have a cat and hes always asleep. How about a trip out to the swimming pool or having some fun making some sw recipes to keep you motivated?
 
Hello there mrsrugball..

I am actually so far really enjoying eating EE style. I had a nasty shock last week, a blood test because i was feeling so out of sorts bought back a high blood glucose result, not diabetes but as close as could be. With mum being diabetic it was the shot up the rear end i needed so here i am. :D

Brand new to the whole SW plan so am surprised in comparison to WW how simple it is. Next to no weighing, counting meh meh all the stuff that used to bug me.
Have promised myself at least one new food or recipe a week so I dont become jaded eating the same meals time after time. This week I have 2 aubergines in my fridge.. they look pretty but not sure what I will do with them yet lol. :eek:

Your loss is fantastic.. Are you feeling good for it?

I will deffo keep you all updated. I am a bit of a forum addict so other than revising/working (soon have an exam for open uni) i will be bouncing in here most days for my syn free fix.

Awk, that is a nasty shock, but at least you're making positive steps to sort it! It's so easy to just forget about health issues or ignore/make excuses for them, so well done!

Yeah, SW is pretty simple, I keep expecting there to be a "catch" but there's not, honest!

Thank yooou, yes, I am feeling so much more awake and happy now, not sluggish and moody. Just had my 3rd weigh in; 3lb off and Slimmer of the Week. So, that's 10.5lb in 3 weeks, WOOP!

Good luck and if you want any advice/help/support, just ask away. it's a good bunch here and they'll keep you right. :D

Well ladies im in shock weigh in this morning and lost 5lb got my 1.5st award and got slimmer of the week yay very chuffed today, Its my cheat day today so had greggs for lunch and will be having Chinese and a drink for dinner tonight hehe.

But back on it tomorrow as usual, Don't think my loss will be that good next week as the kids are off and the weather is horrid so we haven't been out and I usualy do about 3 mies walking a day.


Well done you must be thrilled with this weeks loss. We will soon be in the next room :) I cant wait lol

I was confused about rooms too. Looking at your losses you are in the right room.
Its a bit odd but less than 19 and your slinky self will slip into 19-18.

I posted in 19-18 as well then got politely told this was my home for a lil while. Not that I mind soon be dropping down and I get to meet everyone here too!!

I am so far enjoying sw. Am finding myself to be a little obsessed but it is only week one so until i get 100% comfy with it I am sure thats normal. I am following the EE plan which is deffo easy.
I am not suffering with the symptoms i had pre sw and when my blood glucose was high - fatigue, dizziness, tingles etc so I must be maintaining a better balance throughout the day.

My WI is tomorrow morning. I am excited and nervous to see how the first week has gone. I know I have lost as I have had a SP but we will have to wait and see how much.

How are you getting on?
 
I've done SW before, with great results - lost around 3 ish stone in 5 months ((a few years ago, and have put it alllll back on and waaaay more!) So I know it works, I think because I know whats what Im not as strict as I should be, Im kinda dabbling with red and EE.

Rainbow - its so good to hear you had positive results. I have lost weight before many moons ago on a diff plan but just got fed up of all the weighing/adding up etc so ended up giving up. I am loving sw so far as it is so easy to manage as long as i stick to my proportions i cant seem to go too wrong.

Anxiety is building now as WI1 is in the morning :eek:
 
Yes it is so easy not having to weigh and measure! How old are you? (tell me to mind my own business if you want) Im just wondering if people are finding it harder as the years and diets go on! x
 
No worries Rainbow I am an open book. It is also nice to chat to someone on here I often wonder if i post and post and people get pee'd off with me.

30 is no biggy. Not when you are over 30, the next eek one for me is 40. I find the older I get the less I worry about my age. Apart from children but thats a whole new topic.
I dont attend a group altho I wish I could. I work shifts so finding a group or a C who's groups I can shift around over the shifts is not possible - I did have a good try. Currently on 4am-12 noon shift which to be blunt is a bit of a pain in the rear end.
My sister is on SW and she is my advisor - she is coming over tonight with some books for me 'Lunch recipes' and the one which tells u the syn free supermarket stuff i think. It was her idea for me to try sw as tbh i had always said it was a bit pants before.. boy was i wrong!

I attend a group, Ive tried many a time to do it without group, but I need the thought of the group humiliation (not that it is like that!) Do you mean you worry about your children or you worry about having children? .... I did tell you before tell me to stop being to nosy lol... and you did tell me you were an open book! Wow I couldn't fuction for work at 4am, but I guess you get used to it?.....

My worry is having children, i have a cat but no little ppl of my own. I have PCOS and was told in my 20's having kids would mean medical assistance. Oh well. Life will give me what it wants who am I to try and fight it.

4am is a nasty time of day. I get up at 2am so I can leave around 3am. I normally get in the office about 340ish but I am one of those who just cannot leave it late. I am off tomorrow then working Sunday, yep 4am on a Sunday morning. Although then I am off work for 2 weeks Woooohooooooooooooo :bliss:

I am doing my level 2 reiki course next Thurs and an exam for my open uni degree the following weds so not a lot of rest but no silly alarm calls.
Do you work?Study? Have little people?
