2014 weight loss challenge

I started to struggle so thought I would try and maintain for a few weeks, weighed myself this morning and I have lost 3lbs, honestly thought I would of gained!

Hi everyone lost 1/2 lb so I'm at 19 1/2 lbs . Would love to loose at least 1 and 1/2 next week then I'll get my 1and 1/2 stone award :) Its strange but I've done more exercise this week and lost 1/2 lb but two weeks ago did less exercise and lost 3lbs ! Doesn't make sense sometimes don't want to stop tho as I'm feeling better for it .Can understand why some people stop exercising when this happens . Have a good bank holiday weekend everyone xx

That happened to me too but it is entirely normal and everything will even out eventually! Very frustrating when the number on the scale doesn't reflect your efforts, but it will happen! I agree that I can see why people stop exercising when they see slower losses but it makes me feel a bit sad as it should be about being slim and fit and healthy, not just slim, if that makes sense!

Wow u've done so well - and isn't it great to crack that stone?? Have u decided what to do with ur food this week (no wisecracks pls - I know ur going to eat some!)
 
Well I ate out in pizza express in Wednesday which is when it finished, and then last night I had chippy and chocolate but I overdid it and am feeling crap today, fast food definitely doesn't agree with me! I've started another seven day detox today which involves juices, soups, smoothies and salads, oh is on board with this one too so we will see how we go! I'm out next sat night so it will be my celebration for completing the next detox lol

Ur having a 'normal' upndown week so that's fine!

I tend to have a WI treat day - which often spills over into another day or 2 or.... then as next WI day draws nearer it's cutty throaty time then press repeat - not the best way I know but better than gaining but wd like to get myself sorted to maintain when and if I reach target!!

We always want more don't we - but I like TextyF's words - a half pound is a block of lard' you've lost 2 of those this week - and who wdn't be glad to get rid of them from the parts of us we don't like? :)

Yeah a lot of the time I gave treats then the next day I want more, then it's a frantic scramble to save myself for weigh day lol. It's the end of my diet bet next Sunday so I will have to do my official weigh in for that but I'm out for food and drinks on the Saturday so I'm very nervous it's going to mess it up!

What did u say u'd lose for the bet? Go 4 it - don't lose ur cash - if u win - buy something 4 urself!! U've done so well and I know it's really hard but try not to stress - we all know what'll happen then don't we? :eatdrink051:
 
Help please - anyone got any tasty ideas for a day out (a national (Wales) event) I'm going to on Tuesday - there'll be all sorts of food from a nice restaurant to burgers - so cd have a nice eve meal - but what about the rest of the time when everyone's eating snacks :rolleyes: I'll be out from 9am to 9pm-ish - thoughts so far - SW scotch egg, ham, SW choc brownies, fruit, salad, HEA cheese, HEB bread - not very inspirational eh? All suggestions welcome! :wavey:

I used to make a yummy quiche type thing with cooked sliced potatoes on the bottom of a flan dish then fill with cottage cheese, roasted peppers, ham, anything you like then oven for 25 mins. Cut in wedges tastes amazing cold ! All zero syns. Have you tried the curry muffins ? Also amazing cold- tin Asda chickpea Dahl, an egg and a pkt cooled curry savoury rice. Mix together then bake in silicon cases for muffins or a loaf tin and cut in slices . Yummy !
