2015 Weight Loss Challenge

sts for me this week - we're having 3 nights in London next week so expecting a gain - then the following week rejoining SW as my progress this year is rubbish! Good luck to those yet to weigh and well done to the losers! xx

Thx - yes I'm struggling to stick to the plan! It's daft really - I'm not going mad and eating everything in sight - but having too many small treats! Need to stop messing about! xx
 
I'm not very good at cooking as I always depended on oh for that cos he's really good so I'm really going to learn this year I think because it would make things waaaay easier.oh lost weight when we were juicing but he doesn't seem motivated at all now we have stopped which is a shame cos he was really into it at the time

Anything that's going to make things easier is worth going for! Will ur oh be up for mini cookery lessons to get u started? There's a great recipe thread here 'Delicious meals with minimum ingredients' started by Chocko1 (Kathy) a lovely lady who wd be happy to help/answer questions. I'll send u the link if u like.

Shame oh's stopped dieting - hope he'll restart. As I mentioned mine wants to lose some weight but has also lost motivation! He's really busy and unusual for him it's causing stress - so probably not the best time 4 him 2 start!

Had a pretty miserable week as I haven't been able to go to the gym due to a knee injury so wasn't expecting a loss, but somehow managed to lose 2 pounds. :)

I stayed the same this week was really hoping to get into the 15 stone bracket. But you cant lose every week and I did eat really late around 11.20pm. I also need to eat more as I seem to have been eating around 800 cals most days. I have started back running doing c25k but I do feel it's been holding me back as I wont push myself. The most I have ever done is 8 mins so I went and did my own thing and am now running 20 mins I am so happy with that.
 
You are so close to 15 bracket now I'm sure you will hit it next week. I eat around 1100-1300 a day and as we are similar weights I'd say you need to eat same...especially if you are exercising as well.

You saying about the bracket has actually made me realise I am now in 15's and didn't even twig. I was just happy I lost 5% of body weight!

Mine should be 1480 a day I am trying not to eat junk and stuff and I don't eat breakfast never have since I have got older. So it's 400 for lunch and around 450 for dinner. I don't really feel hungry I have brought more fruit this week to try and make up my cals some more. Hoping I make it into the 15's I can tell my body shape is changing which is a good thing.

at least you know where you can make some changes and cutting out a few treats here and there is easier than stopping yourself from eating like a complete madwoman lol
 
I think we are getting on so well in this thread! I'm ever so slightly wobbling so I hope tomorrow is a clean slate and the scale can continue to go down!

I do hope u will be on track 2moro - strange but I always feel that Monday is the best day to start a clean slate! Hope it works for u.

How's the cooking going? I find it easier to plan my meals each week and shop accordingly and occasionally cook double and freeze a portion so that I have something in for those days when I can't/or can't be bothered to cook! Good luck for the week! xx
