A Healthier Lifestyle Quest!!

Slight deviation from lunch and dinner for today:

L - deep-filled ham & salad sandwich (1 slice wholemeal bread with 2 syns light mayo) followed by grapes
D - gammon steak with pineapple, baby potatoes, carrots, peas and gravy (0.5 syns, hardly had any!)

Not gonna bother with melba toast/custard cream now. May treat myself to a curly wurly from shop next to my cousin's if I feel like it though (6 syns)

Had a good wee night last night. Drinks consumed = 1 x green lemon honey tea, 1 x fanta zero, 2 x diet coke. Really hope I get a good loss tomorrow, I've been on plan 100%!!

D - ???

There's going to be a wee buffet type thing at my aunt's house for my cousin's 21st from 2-6pm so I'll be having dinner there. Not sure what will be SW friendly. I know there's definitely going to be salad stuff though and I think I might take a wee tin of mackerel in tomato sauce in my bag just in case there's no suitable salad accompaniments! I'll still have 8 syns left to play around with so will report back later on how it all pans out :p x

Morning - enjoy your buffet later and good luck with the weigh in tomorrow. Still away from home but have managed to get the walking done and food on track but have a voucher from John Lewis for a free coffee and cake when we go to town later - may have to give the cake to OH. (or maybe not).

Not sure if I've posted this before but this is me about 8 years ago before I piled on all the weight! I'm using it to help keep me focused and motivated and to show me something achievable to me. I obviously won't ever get back to exactly that as my body was younger and my boobs hadn't stopped growing then (or been through the yo-yo dieting hell they have been through since then :( ) but it is helping keep me on track just looking at it and feeling nostalgic!

It is funny how being good leads to more things being put in handbags, I have carried fruit bags, eat natural bars and even a salad, never a tin of fish but maybe one day lol x

Please take one at your largest - or where you are now - this is what originally motivated me when I saw a photograph when I weighted 15.5 stones - I never had my photograph taken then until a friend took one I did not know about, printed it and sent it to us and I was mortified then my doctor told me I should lose weight and thought - this is the time. I did gain some after my accident 12 years later when I became a bit complacent and took my eye off the ball but now back to where I was.

I have now made it larger, laminated it and it is on my desk along with a recent on and I know which I like the best.
 
Morning everyone!

Hope you are all off to a good start for the week. So nervous about weigh in tonight. I know I've been 100% on track all week (and I don't plan on ruining that today!) but feeling a little sluggish and bloaty with my TOTM. I honestly thought last week's pre-bloat would be all I'd get but seems my body is set out to frustrate me pfft. Anyway, won't know the score til 7.30pm so just gotta get on with it!

Food today:

B - weetabix with ss-milk (HExA & B) and chopped banana
L - mackerel in tomato sauce with side salad
D - Baked potato with tuna may (2 syns) & side salad
Snacks - strawberries, pineapple, satsuma, muller light & a curly wurly (6 syns) after weigh in if all goes well!

Syns = 8
Calories = approx 1300 calories

Oh, and green tea - I've already had one cup of green lemon honey tea this morning and will probably have a green mint tea later :) x
 
Just so I don't get too disheartened if it is a stay the same tonight I decided to take my measurements. I have lost 1 inch from my hips, 1.5 inches from my waist and 1 inch from my bust.

Albeit that's from over the last 3 weeks but I'm just happy to see the numbers going down :). x

That is a really good loss, i like measuring as it helps you see where you have lost it from x
