A Hotel Manager's Diary To A Healthier Life! 11/42

Morning! You've never been to London?! What a day to go -- the underground is holding a 2 day strike. :(

I know my Dad told me :( I'm so so gutted!!!!!!

I'm going again mid march though!

Yeah I've never been to London haha even though I used to live inbetween York and Leeds, two of the easiest ways to get there haha!!!

Have a fab time in London and good luck with the tube strike, I'm sure there will be plenty of buses around so don't worry too much, and like you said you can do plenty of walking too!
Are you doing any sightseeing while you're there?

Well done on your eating out choices last night, I have to say your dinner looked gorge!! xx

Sarah is right - London is very walkable. I am an hour north of London (you'll be passing through my local station: Huntingdon) -- and it's sunny here at the moment! Enjoy!

Loving London!!! It's brilliant!!! Walked loads and haven't made too bad choices (the wine has made an appearance though ;))

I'm glad you enjoyed it and the underground issues didn't dampen your spirits.
 
Hi Ruth, I found you :D . Glad your having a fab time in London. The weather is miserable here though and unfortunately there is a tube strike :rolleyes:. It's just as well you'll be back in March, should be nicer then. I've read your diary from the start. Just wanted to say well done on firstly starting SW and sticking to the plan despite your hectic work schedule. Planning meals ahead is an important part of weightloss, especially when your not home much to cook meals. I also find the SW mag is great for introducing new products, that they suggest for people on the go, ideal for work lunches. Eg. like the mugshots or the covent garden soup co have come out with a skinny soup range which are very low in syns, also John West do a fab range tuna and other seafood snack boxes which are low in syns.

Your food diary so far has been looking great. I hope you have a fab week ahead and a good loss for next weigh in too :).

Thanks I had a fab time and the Northern Line was still open so it was fine as our closest station to the hotel was Tottenham Court Station which was open and we managed to go to Camden as well! I did quite a bit of sightseeing and ate reasonably well (I saw a friend I haven't seen in a very long time so the wine flowed....) but I am still pleased as I walked everywhere that I possibly could :)

It was fab I absolutely loved it! London was very walkable and my legs hurt (all is good ;))

Thank you for your lovely kind words I am really enjoying this plan and also getting to plan my food out in advance even if my shifts can be a bit of a nightmare!!! I have had some of the covent garden soups and even though I love salads I will be using them when it gets a bit nippier!

I hope that all is well with you and I just wanted to say how fab your diary is!!!

2x light babybel (HEA)
Multipack bag quavers = 4.5
Multipack paprika crisps = 7
2x diet coke
Chips = 10
Brown sauce = 2
2x Apples

Dinner
Mojito = 8
2x Vodka Diet coke = 5
Wine = 24
Lettuce
Tomatoes
Olive Oil (HEB)
Onion
2x Mini Tortilla Wraps = 10
Yogurt = 2
Refried Beans 1 tbsp =2?!?
Chargrilled Chicken- I asked for no dressing wooooo!!!!!!
1 tbsp Chipotle Dressing = 4?!
Black Coffee
Water

I am going to be very sorry for that morning!!!! I didn't feel well and my sugars were completely shot! I know that's not a good excuse....

78.5!!!!! Eeek all done now finished etc....

Back straight on it! Pasta and olives for tea :)

Glad you had a fab time. I love London, I haven't been on a sightseeing trip for 3yrs now but I go every couple of months for work (don't think that counts though lol!).

And all I can say now is mmmm mojitos!

Dinner!

Mixed Salad, tomatoes, mushrooms, cress, red onion and rocket with balsamic vinegar. Ham pieces, pickled onions, homemade picalilli, 1/2 portion Boursin cheese & Olives!!!

This is on a smaller plate haha!

Thanks I feel a bit mad with it all just back on it now! Thanks very much :) my friends carried on drinking the mojitos and I packed it in after one I thought it was the best way!
