A WinkOfPink And A Target Food Diary_

Hahahahaha! I have my own strawberries now. Thank you very much ;)

I wish I wasn't too lazy to attempt to make SW rice pudding. Used to bloody love rice pudding *drool*

Noooo cheeky your missing out!!! I make it the very lazy way.. pudding rice, water, milk and sweetener in a dish, pop it in the oven for 2 hours! (stirring occasionally during Coronation Street commercial's;) lol) Really really *really* good!

1/2 chopped banana, 1tsp honey(1)

LUNCH
H'made skimmed latte(using milk from HxB)
Bowl of strawberries

DINNER
SW chicken tikka masala:
Onions, garlic, red chilli, chopped toms,
tomato purée, chicken breasts, Tesco

Syns total: 1 syn

No problem hun, ooh I do love rice pudding *swoons* it was so creamy and deliciously decadent! (goes to check pudding rice for tomorrow...);)

SW Rice Pudding

Serves 2
Syn free (if using milk as HxA)

Ingredients:
2 oz pudding rice
750ml skimmed milk
3tbsp sweetener
optional tsp nutmeg

Pre-heat oven to 140 degrees/gas 1 and lightly spray an oven dish using frylight.
Tip in the rice, sweetener, nutmeg and stir in 500ml of the skimmed milk.
Place dish in the oven and bake for 1 hour.
Stir in the extra 250ml of milk and cook for a further 1-1.5 hours (until cooked to a consistency you prefer)
Then dig in!:D

Sometimes i'll substitute 250ml milk for water, but i've found I much prefer it creamier! There's also a great rice pudding reciepe on Britmum's blog using evaporated milk, 4.5 syns per serving, looks lovely and creamy! I LOVE self Christmas presents!:D (especially when you order it online… having it delivered really does feel like your unwrapping a present;)) "for me?!" LOL!!

The Spiced Winter Red tea is the one i'm most looking forward too!!!:D - It sounds right up my street! My friend described it as a cup of Christmas! (so that totally won me over!) I've also ordered Rooibos creme caramel, chai tea, english breakfast and the liquorice and mint. Have you tried any of these? I wasn't sure about the liquorice and mint but i've heard it's a firm favourite! I literally drink my bodyweight in tea and I have trouble sleeping… so it's probably not a good idea i'm always high on caffeine LOL!! So i'm looking forward to trying there caffeine-free teabags. xx

The Rooibos Creme Caramel is really nice :D I cant stand Chai, so can't help you there. Ive got the Winter Red and Darjeeling Earl Grey at the moment. I sometimes order the little boxes where you only get a few tea temples in so I cant try a few flavours :) Hope you like 'em :D

Self Xmas prezzies are brill!

Aww thank you hun! I'm so looking forward to trying the Spiced Winter and Rooibos Creme Caramel, I really was spoilt for choice. That's what I ordered, the little sample boxes, I didn't fancy buying the larger ones just incase I didn't like them, our tea cupboard is packed as it is! If you're planning on ordering any I have a 20% discount code thats valid until 31st Jan 2013.
I love self-presents!! It's my 23rd birthday a week on friday (a.k.a 3rd 21st ;)lol) and i've seen some stack rings in Pandora, so i'm really tempted to get myself a "to me from me" kind of present! Lol x

23?! Now I feel old ;) But yeah, you should get something for yourself. I'm being me an iPod nano for my 30th in Jan ;) Keep hold of your code for now in case you want to try anything else. But I usually make an order in Dec :)
I see you went to town on Weetabix today?! lol. I do bloody love cereal :D And no syns

Hmm.. i've not liked the idea of my 23rd birthday approaching. I know 23 is still young, but to me its reaching that midpoint mark. I'm no longer a young 20-something, but slowly approaching those mid to late 20's when you are supposed to be mature and have your life together... I don't have my life together just yet;) LOL!!
Aww lovely, it's funny you said that actually, I've been looking at the new iPod Nano's, I love the vibrant colours, especially the green and the purple! The big 3-0, have you started thinking of any birthday celebration plans?

It's an open code:D .. you can re-use it until the end of January, check it out on here WIN Wedding Favours with teapigs | Belle Bridal Magazine - Wedding Magazine, Wedding Fairs, Photography, Venues & Directory
My Teapigs order is due today… excited much!

You've probably noticed, I don't eat much around dinner, I'm very much a fruit grazer! I was nicknamed "fruit girly" at work because i'd come in with big fruit salads bowls. Whilst my colleagues had chocolate and biscuits on there desks, i'd have punnets of strawberries… (not far from getting a fruit bowl LOL!!) These past few days i've had porridge and weetabix cravings!!:p ...I'm blaming the cold, wet, dark nights that are slowly creeping in!

P.S. I didn't realise until writing out my diary that I hadn't used any syns, though it's probably a good thing, i'm going to a vintage tea party this weekend, i'm gonna need all the syns I can get;)LOL!! (There will be lot's of scones, cupcakes and other naughty baked goodies!) xx

MY TEAPIGGIE'S CAME!!! … I'm sipping a Rooibos creme caramel tea as I type!:D

Woooow! A vintage tea party sounds so cool :D I'm being really good this week and next week because I have my friend's 30th next Friday and then a few days later me and my Sister are having a night in with a takeaway for some Sister time while Mum's on holiday :)

My main birthday plans are going to be the holiday in Lapland with my friend. She's 21 the week after I run 30. Cow ;) We're not going till March though and our birthdays are in Jan.
The Fri before my birthday there's a few of us going to see The Lion King musical in Manchester. The Lion King is my favourite film and I saw the show for my 21st in London and cried all the way through  I have warned everyone I will be equally emotional this time round. I also cried all the way through seeing it in 3D in the pics when it was re-released.... Anyway, we're going to Giraffe before for a meal. The Saturday I think I'm gonna arrange a meal/get together for friends and stuff who aren't coming to the Lion King. Might be at my favourite veggie place :D The Sunday my 2 friends who I dog walk with a lot have told me to keep the day free and I'll need a picnic  And then the Monday (21st) is my actual birthday. Think Mum & Sis have booked the day off from work. I will be bloody knackered by then lol so hopefully go see a film or something relaxing :p

So erm yeah, I have a few birthday plans.....
