A yummy (and happier and healthier) mummy - for good this time!

Well I planned on a flexi day but ended up not using it (as well as my early night!). I had a friend come over for a catch up and before I knew it time had flew and it was too late for food as eating late makes me feel queasy.

Hoping my lack of food doesn't do more harm than good. Also, just realising I forgot to weigh with my super tired brain this morning so will probably be next week and hope for a double loss!

Todays food-
B: Nothing.
L: Ham and cheese toasties (ham, 60g WM bread hexB, 40g reduced fat cheddar hexA). Plum.
D: Nothing... Oops. But Im also not hungry so not like I'm starving myself.

Snacks: Satsuma. Blueberries. Wotsits (multipack bag) 5syns.
Drinks: Cups of tea (sweetener and 100ml skimmed milk 2syns) Flavoured fizzy water.
Syn Total- 7syns

Sounds like you had a great time and the food sounds lovely! It could have been much worse.

Exciting news! Ive FINALLY made an appointment to try on some wedding dresses- on August 28th :) I want and NEED my two stone by then. Thats my mini goal- and I think 1.5lb in two and a half weeks is totally obtainable so I dont feel like Im being unrealistic...

Saying that Ive been lacking in superfree today- but Im at work so Im limited to what I can have. And I went into the Tesco local by my work and they had NO fruit or veggies on their shelves- it looked like theyd been raided! I really fancied some blueberries as well :(
 
Yep they do have my lovely dress! So hoping I like it on my body but am worried about the bust area as I am a busty girl!

Bought myself a chicken pasta pot in Tesco for my dinner and one again got caught out with how high the syns would be- its 8.5syns! So saving that for my lunch tomorrow instead.

Todays food-
B: Nothing.
L: Ham and cucumber sandwich (60g WM bread hexB, ham, cucumber and 2tbsp lighter than light mayo 1syn). Banana. Plum.
D: Tomato and herb mugshot. Apple.

Snacks: Mini bag of haribo 2.5syns. 2 x M&S sushi snack packs 1syn. Banana. Grapes. Strawberries.
Drinks: Water. Starbucks medium skinny caramel latte (skimmed milk hexA and syrup 3syns). 2 x "mocha" coffee (sachet options 2syns and dashes of skimmed milk 1syn).
Syn Total- 10.5syns

The big day is 18th April 2015, MC so just over 8 months away!

One of my main reasons for starting SW was to lose some weight for the wedding but its not my end goal and I don't think I'll just stop once the big day is here, as I want to be able to run around after Reece (and any possible future babies- thats undecided at the moment!) without being shattered after two seconds! I also want to be a better role model for him with fruit and vegetables- my parents barely ate any so neither did I. Bad example!

Phew! Work is over... Until Saturday and I HATE Saturday shifts :(

I won 2 spot prizes at work today- one was a multipack of toffee popcorn and the other was a multipack of dairy milk! Not very SW friendly so I ended up sharing most of it with my team mates and the rest has come home for H2B! Cant blame them for junk food prizes- wouldn't be as exciting if you won a punnet of grapes!!

Todays food-
B: Nothing.
L: Tesco spicy chicken pasta pot 8.5syns (and not worth it as I was still hungry afterwards!) Free yogurt. Satsuma. Apple.
D: 2 x M&S sushi snack packs 1syn. Special K chewy bar hexB. Banana.

Snacks: Grapes. Banana.
Drinks: Costa medium skinny vanilla latte (skimmed milk hexA and syrup 3syns). 1 x cup of tea (sweetener and dash of skimmed milk 0.5syn). Water.
Syn Total - 13syns
 
There's an amazing group on fb called syns allowed owned by a woman called Joyce. Join it and have a look through the files she has tons of great stuff listed in pics (even better so you know what it looks like! ) for things you can pick off the shelf and just eat - will be good for lunch at work :)
 
Yay for no-work Wednesdays! Although have had a killer headache (definitely got a turning-into-a-migraine quality about it. *Bad times*) most of the day so dont feel like I've given Reece enough attention and playtime :(

Went for a short play date with a friend this morning so had cups of tea with sugar :( Only 1tsp but I hate wasting syns on sugar in tea when I actually prefer sweetener and no syns anyway!

Todays food-
B: Banana and nectarine.
L: Pasta in homemade superfree tomato sauce with added peas and sweetcorn (yay for extra veggies!) Special k chewy bar hexB.
D: Youngs low fat ocean crumble 3.5syns (totally worth it! Yum yum!) Baby corn, carrots and peas.

Snacks: Satsuma. Nectarine. 3 x chocolates from a box of chocolates (kinda like thorntons but the chocolates were smaller- leftover from our wedding favour) estimate 2syns each so 6syns.
Drinks: Cups of tea (2 with 1tsp sugar 2syns, the rest with sweetener and mix of semi-skimmed and skimmed milk hexA) Coke zero. Flavoured fizzy water.
Syn Total- 11.5syns
 
What about popping a small plastic clicky thing where you click out sweetner in your handbag? That way you can say something like "sorry I'm on a diet but I've came prepared! Thanks for the offer of sugar though" :)
I keep a small squirty Robinsons squash thing in mine for the same reason :) (I don't have sugar in my tea)
 
I used to keep a thingy of sweetener in my bag but I feel a bit rude pulling it out! I need to lose my over-British politeness!

And I carry a Robinsons squeezy squash thing too! Mainly for Reece- that boy drinks so much its unreal! I know he should have water rather than squash but he is too used to the taste of orange from when the health visitor suggested diluted pure juice when he was small to combat constipation (sorry for the lengthy explanation- too used to it after getting funny looks from other mothers!)

D: Spicy prawn pasta (pasta, 50g chorizo 3.5syns, onions, chilli, tinned tomatoes, prawns)

Snacks: Banana. 2 x plum. 1/3 piece of white toast with dairylea approx 2.5syns (damn leftovers! But I do miss white bread toast!)
Drinks: Cups of tea(sweetener and skimmed milk part hexA). Coke zero. Water. Options hot chocolate 2syns.
Syn Total- 13syns

He's fine now- it's really common when babies are first being weaned onto solid food. Especially when he is like mine who wanted finger foods straight away- like baby biscuits and crackers! I even resorted to adding pureed prunes in with his yogurt and mushed banana!

I use the sainsbury already diced chorizo as its 6.5syns for 100g and one of the lower ones (I over syn slightly with my 50g serving). Some brands are really high so make sure you check first as I'd hate to lead anyone astray!
 
Had a very grumpy little boy today- thinks hes got a poorly tummy as he's been very windy and off his food :( Ive got work tomorrow so hoping he feels better or h2b is going to have a nightmare of a day.

Haven't eaten much today... Hoping it wont affect my *hopeful* loss on Sunday.

D: Spicy prawn pasta (50g chorizo 3.5syns, onions, chilli, tinned tomatoes, prawns and pasta)
