A yummy (and happier and healthier) mummy - for good this time!

yay for feeling a bit better! :)

I braved food... And SURVIVED!!

And had a massive chocolate craving this evening- thinking my body is trying to make up for the lack of food yesterday. I have kinda resisted though as not sure I'll stop if I have a chocolate bar!

I was disappointed by the white chocolate when made into a hot chocolate, but it's okay for cookingery stuff (like that cheese cake)

Glad you're feeling better though! :)

I really want some watsits now... hmmm..
And bugger I still haven't bought the chorizo! lol! I need to go old school and write it on my hand or something :p

but yeah food looks great for today. Making me hungry!

I haven't tried the white chocolate one but I think I'll give it a miss then! I wasn't too keen on the orange options either- maybe I should just stick to belgian and the butterscotch ones!

Went to soft play with Reece and a friend this morning and I took my sweetener dispenser instead of having sugar :) Trying to get over my issue with that- need to ensure I do it when I go out for food as I'm terrible at asking for dressings on the side or no oil... :(

Todays food-
B: Nothing.
L: Bachelors high veg tomato and basil pasta n sauce (made with water and skimmed milk part hexA) Quavers 4.5syns (multipack bag). Satsuma. Grapes.

Totally recommend the high veg pasta n sauce- a lot more saucy and full of flavour than the regular pasta n sauce.

Food looks nice :)

And well done for taking a sweetener dispenser with you! It's going the right way. :D

and you could just syn dressings and oil, or just tell them you have an allergy. It's a white lie but it may be easier lol :)

Did a nice amount of walking with the buggy today- we left the house at 10am and got home at 12noon. Did have a coffee break of course but yay for adding some additional exercise.

Also went to my favourite new greengrocer- got a couple more bargains, Including a punnet of plums for 30p and babycorn for 65p! I bought a reusable bag full of fruit and veg for £6! Was worth going out whilst it was spitting with rain :)

And lol Rosiepops! I need a variety of fruit or I slack and get bored. Although there is some repetitive fruits! Normally the same few rotated :p

Like the sound of roasted tomatoes on your sandwich- will remember that for this weekend!
Housework is a very good workout. I clean once a week (as a job!) and it really tires me out! Then of course I have my own house to clean! Xx

The roast tomatoes were nice- I should have left them to roast for a little longer but was too hungry to wait once my sausages were ready!

I have to have some moisture or sauce in sandwiches!

Why do I always want to treat myself the day/ night before WI?! Went out and bought myself a delicious bottle of low alcohol wine for tonight! Also bought the new Captain America movie so having a snuggly date night on the sofa :)

Just poking my nose in to subscribe. But also thought I would share given the options comments about One of things I've found with options is if you use less water (and so get less hot chocolate) it is much nicer. I make ordinary options with about half or 3/4 of the water depending on flavour and enjoy that smaller amount much more than I would a full cup that is watery. I also sometimes get if I see them the Options deluxe which is 3 syns instead of 2 as it's 66 calories instead of 40 but it does taste much richer.

Squeee!!! I've just weighed and I lost 2 and a half pounds! I'VE HIT MY TWO STONE!!!!

Before my target of this Thursday as well so I will try and enjoy my wedding dress shopping!

H2B mentioned last night that I feel slimmer when he cuddles me and I also seem more confident when nude (I used to literally dive under a dressing gown- now I walk at a normal pace!)

I just need to work in some toning exercises- anyone have any easy suggestions that I can work into a busy toddler filled day!

Yesterday I allowed myself a treat- H2B mentioned he wanted a late snuggly night on the sofa with a movie and a few drinks, like we used to before domesticated life took over!
So during the weekly shop I grabbed a bottle of wine and the new Captain America flick.
I went SW conscious and close low alcohol wine and it also said it was 30% less calories than regular rosè :) Ive asked and looked around for syns (unhelpfully there are no kcal on the bottle or First Cape website!!) and I think it's around 18syns for the bottle.

Yesterdays food-
B: Nothing.
L: Chicken and lettuce sandwich (cooked chicken breast, lettuce, 60g WM bread hexB and 2tbsp lighter than light mayo 1syn) Nectarine. Yogurt. 2 x light babybel part hexA.
D: Risotto Pronto mushroom with added peas, onions and mushrooms. So glad I've just found out those are free!!

Snacks: Satsuma. Nectarine. Grapes. Multipack Time out bar 4syns.
Drinks: Cups of tea(sweetener and skimmed milk part hexA). Flavoured fizzy water. Coke zero. 750ml First Cape light white zinfandel 18syns.
Syn Total- 23syns

Im okay with being over syn- had a fab night!

Yay well done!!! So happy for you. :D
I hope that you enjoy shopping. :D

Exercise wise : Take the little man to the park and play chase or so, for your arms pick him up by the hands and spin him around? (I used to do that with kids a lot. I used to be a nursery nurse and I babysat a lot lol) The spinning will be good because you will have to lift him, lol. :D

Otherwise you can play hide and seek with him and encourage him to change his hiding spot all over the house so you have to do a lot of exploring to find him, up and down the stairs and all.
You could also do more house work for more body magic, but that's boring  (and who needs to do it when you can hide everything in cupboards?!)

Otherwise change habits : if you're watching the telly and there's a break walk around the house instead of watch the adverts. On the phone? walk about instead of sitting.
Maybe get a step tracker on your phone or a... one of those actual step tracker thingies. Seriously forgot the name now, typical me! See how many you do on an average day when you don't work. Goal for next day? 500 more steps. Gradually raise it. Have a new goal every day/week! If you haven't met your goal have a quick walk around your street. :) It's what I do! :D
