A yummy (and happier and healthier) mummy - for good this time!

Have fun shopping today! :D

And just say you're looking at your dresses first, then you can go look at the bridesmaid ones. :p

The play date sounds so cute!

I had an awesome day!! Both bridal boutiques were lovely :) So complimentary towards me (which I know is part of their job role!) But wearing those beautiful fitted dresses I could see how small my waist actually is and I felt proud of my weight loss :)

AND I think I've found the one! It's still by Mori Lee but not the 5103 I loved online (although that is coming a close second! I'm undecided between the two!) Going to have another try on in about 2 weeks and see if it gives me those same butterflies!!

Todays food-
B: Nothing (was too nervous!)
L: Went to Zizzi's after the first bridal shop. Had a baked mushroom and bacon pasta. Assuming a small amount of oil, a splash of cream in the sauce, a little fat on the bacon and a sprinkle of Parmesan... Going to allow 10syns, as there wasnt a lot of sauce or the naughtiness.
D: Ham salad sandwich (60g WM bread hexB, ham, cucumber, lettuce and 2tbsp lighter than light mayo 1syn). Mugshot.

Snacks: Mango. Nectarine.
Drinks: Starbucks medium skinny caramel latte (skimmed milk hexA and syrup 3syns). Flavoured water. Coke zero. 2 x cups of tea (sweetener and dashes of skimmed milk 1syn)
Syn Total- 15syns.

I've been checking here all night to see how it's gone! EEEK its so exciting, I can't believe you have possibly found the one!! Is it very different to the close second? I remember looking at that one a while ago.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it, how fab do you feel?!
Did you go for the spanx in the end? It was a hot day when I went but can imagine being roasting xx
Ps your lunch sounds yummy! X

I may consider putting up one of the photos :) My friend has them on her phone so Im waiting for her to email them to me so I can look!!

Im still on a wedding dress shopping high! Honestly, I think once Im married I might just go and try some on for a confidence boost- they truely are the most flattering thing you'll ever wear!!

I wore a smaller pair of spanx- just like Bridget Jones knickers that suck you in but go up to the waist, rather than the full on body that I have for emergencies!! It wasnt too hot thankfully although I did feel a little flustered getting in and out of dresses constantly!!

Ohh wow that would be fab, would love to see a pic! I wasn't allowed to have any taken when I went last time, going again on Sunday!
Haha they are amazing. Liking the idea of going to try them on for confidence! Though you will have yours to put on whenever you need a boost :) xx

Boo at them not letting you take photos Rosie!! That sucks! How are you meant to remember if you like them? Honestly, apart from the two I loved I cant remember any of the others!! They just blend into one long stream of ivory!!

Hen do this weekend so I wont even pretend I'm going to try and be on plan! Although I am going to not eat as much junk- if only to stop myself from having any upset tummy issues.

Speaking of tummy issues- does anyone know if Rennies have syns? Wondering if I'm just getting indigestion when I do eat rubbish, or even trapped wind (TMI sorry!) which Rennies can help with (they definitely helped with trapped wind during pregnancy! As well as the dreaded heartburn! Joys!).

Went to a play café with some mummy friends today- was lovely but didn't get home until way past Reece's nap time so it threw his whole routine out and he didn't sleep anywhere near as long. Therefore I've had a seriously grumpy toddler stomping around- it's like having a teenager! He threw a few tantrums so I'm giving myself a pat on the back for not diving into a bottle of wine and chocolate!!

Todays food-
B: Nothing.
L: Cheese and ham toastie (used my breville- forgot how much I love that thing! 60g WM bread hexB, 25g phili light 2syns and ham). Nectarine. Satsuma.
D: Grilled chicken breast. Filled potato skins (75g phili light hexA, red onion, cooked potato topped with 25g reduced fat cheddar 4syns). Roasted cherry tomatoes.

Snacks: Free yogurt. Couple of slices of ham. Half a sausage 2.5syns (Reece's leftovers- slaps wrist!)
Drinks: 2 x cups of tea (sweetener and dashes of skimmed milk 1syn). Free cranberry and raspberry juice drink. Water.
Syn Total- 9.5syns

I believe they took notes- the dresses that I tried on and what my comments were, so if I wanted to go back they could tell me which I liked?!
I get the impression they have a lot of people that go, try on then find someone else to make the dress for less (wouldn't be hard they were like £1600 and simple/plain!). Still, would've been nice to have something to look back on.
Nice accompaniment to your chicken ;-)
Food sounds yummy, well done on not reaching for the wine and choc! Enjoy the weekend, the wagon will be waiting on Monday :)
Had a quick google re the rennies- apparently there are sugar free ones which may be free, and gaviscon liquid or tablets are free?! Ill check syns online in the morning, but in the meantime is just have some if you're uncomfortable, or try your peppermint tea!! Xx

Confession time!!

I was completely off the wagon on the weekend whilst on the hen do. Didn't start off great when the first activity was Afternoon tea! Followed by wine tasting... And Domino's pizza with wine and a couple of apple sours before going out. Then jagermeister and more wine/ prosecco... Sunday I had orange juice, granola, full fat coke (for the slight hangover) and chips and a battered sausage.
Naughty girl.

And I flexi synned today. I've had an awful day. Stomach has been in knots again but I think its been stress related, as I've been in tears at work. Nothing specific but just been having one of those days and couldn't snap out of it.
I allowed myself 20syns and I'll compensate during the week!

Todays food-
B: Banana.
L: Sainsbury sushi rolls 2syns. Pops (non multipack) 5syns. Grapes. Nectarine.
D: Tomato mugshot. Plum.

Snacks: Yogurt. Apple.
Drinks: 2 x Starbucks medium skinny caramel latte (skimmed milk hexA and 6.5syns, syrup 6syns). Water.

Still under my 20syn flexi allowance!

Ahh it sounds like you had a good time though!! You are normally so good so you might get away with it!
Flexi syn day sounds very sensible- just 4.5 syns over is very little really and sorry to hear you were upset at work. I have lots of sympathy for you and admire that you can keep going- I could not do your job. Are you off tomorrow? Xx

Sounds like you had a good time so don't worry about it! :)

Was starting to wonder if you were still alive, yesterday ;) Glad you are haha.

Did you have a nice time then? :D

Haha! Yea was a great weekend although I feel totally drained and am seriously looking forward to spending some quality time with Reece tomorrow!!

Just a quick update really as I can barely keep my eyes open!

Having trouble keeping completely on plan this week after my weekend blow out! I was hugely tempted to get a KFC on Monday and a McDonalds on Tuesday... I resisted but have gone half a syn over today! Considering Im meant to be keeping myself on track to compensate for a higher Monday and a very high syn weekend I am not doing so great :(

Had my doctors appointment this morning and he isnt too concerned- said given my stress history that its probably that causing my stomach to be upset. He has given me some tablets that I need to take before food to stop my stomach from having spasms and cramping though.

Sorry to hear you are struggling to get back 'on it'! Half a syn over isn't so bad but its difficult when you're struggling with your willpower :-( any thoughts on how you might get it back? When is your 'danger time'? Let me know if you work it out, I'm scraping by and straying too often!
Glad all is well at the docs- stress has a terrible impact on our bodies but worth keeping an eye on in case something else is to blame xx

I dont know what my triggers are or anything for wanting to binge- apart from it getting colder and I want stodge!! And I had cake at the weekend... I miss cake!! I wish the slices were bigger for the syns they cost!! Plus the stress of work has been making me want a double latte caffeine hit!! And that is another hexA and syns for syrup...
Although I have had cravings for good things as well! The other day I just really wanted a kiwi fruit!! I dont know why- I havent had one in years!! Very odd :p
It has been "that" time of the month so hoping once it passes completely I will be back on the wagon and try and do a week or so under 10syns!

Reece had his first settling in session at nursery today!! And he loved it. Barely noticed that me and H2B were there (just the odd look over towards us) My little baby is growing up!! Sad but good times- definitely a mixed emotion!!

H2B is on a stag do this weekend so just me and Reece! I've got to get him some stuff for nursery- wellies, waterproofs, iron on labels/ fabric pen and maybe a backpack :)

Food has been okay today. But OMG I have found Salmon and dill philadelphia light!! Its AMAZING!! Tastes just like salmon pate, which I used to devour on toast like it was going out of fashion!! Definitely going to be a regular fixture on my shopping list!
