A yummy (and happier and healthier) mummy - for good this time!

That Philadelphia sounds amazing - I thought you were only allowed the plain light and lightest for your HEA? (I much prefer the flavoured ones so always felt that was unfair)

Phew! Today has been pretty busy! H2B is away so I had to try and get Reece his stuff for nursery on my own!
I managed to get the wellies and some new jogging bottoms (so it doesn't matter if they get dirty!) but couldn't find a decent backpack for him. Will have to look when I'm in town for work. He was such a good boy so he also got a few treats- like a new Mickey Mouse cuddly toy. Mickey seems to be his current flavour of the month!!

Ended up walking loads as I got a different bus to normal and it went a different way and I missed my stop!! *facepalm*Que an extra 10-15 mins of walking!!

Had a snooty text from a friend basically telling me what's good for my child. I know it's probably nothing but I saw red. Disgusted that she is trying to tell me how to raise my child and speak down to me! Makes me angry!!

Anyway, today's food-

B: Nothing.
L: 3 x multigrain ryvita hexB topped with 50g salmon and dill philadelphia light part hexA. Grapes. Strawberries. Blueberries. Walkers Pops (multipack bag) 4syns.
D: 3 x Tesco light choices sausages 3syns. SW wedges. Roasted cherry tomatoes. Carrots.

Snacks: Walkers Pops 4syns. Yogurt. Mango. Kiwi fruit.
Drinks: Cups of tea and coffee (sweetener and skimmed milk part hexA) Flavoured fizzy water.
Syn Total- 11syns

Best day syn wise this week! WI tomorrow! Dreading it- I feel huge!

I was told any flavour was a hexA... And if I was told wrong then its gona end up being a little cheat for me. Calories seem the same and calcium content is very close (if not the same), which is obv important for a hexA.

Interesting - I might do the same. I was assuming the calcium content was what did it as you say the calories are all very similar.

Doesnt seem to affect my losses- I've always used the flavoured Philli's. My usual favourite is the garlic and herb one- lovely on ryvita topped with slices of cucumber!! Or in a cheese and ham toastie (in the breville for extra indulgence!!)

And on that note- I weighed this morning! And another 3lb gone!! All that talk of feeling heavier mustve just been a little guilt for not weighing last weekend after my naughtiness!! But at least anything I did gain has now gone and a little more :D

Well done! Super happy for you! I bet your face has pretty much split in half from smiling so much :)

Definitely happy with a 3lb loss considering I have been all over the place with my syns and flexi this week :D

I may have to take a leaf out of your book MC and use as close to 15syns as possible and get good losses! My body obviously has been craving the rubbish- I may celebrate with a packet of Pops! They are definitely becoming an obssesion...

And Ive just noticed I am over halfway on my SW journey! Lost more than I need to lose :D YAY *happy dance*

Ive just tried looking online for the calcium content of the different flavour Philidelphia's and even their website doesnt have it!! ANNOYING!! But it does have calories per 30g serving and the plain Philly light actually has the highest calorie content....!!?!?! Only by a couple of calories but still quite surprising!!

Still chuffed with my loss earlier! Done lots of tidying and cleaning today as well (including loads of laundry because the weather was lovely) so extra body magic *inward cringe/ groan at the terminology*

One word for today- work :( Top that with my parents having issues (my mum is having a funny five minutes and is snapping at everything my dad does- drama!!) and I think I did a good job to refuse the custard donuts that were being offered around the office!!
Dread to think of the syns in those!!

Todays food-

Sushi overload but serves me right for not making myself lunch beforehand :(

Reece had his first full day at nursery today and he loved it! Was really good and adventurous as usual but he only ate a bite of his lunch and none of his dinner. Kinda worried about that as I don't want him to be hungry and the nursery staff seemed a little concerned as well because of how active he is and of course he needs nourishment :( He's so fussy at the moment and I just don't know how to encourage him to at least try different food :(

Also had a viewing at our wedding venue and H2B wanted takeaway on the way home. We ended up going through McDonald's drive thru and although I resisted the burger and chips I did cave and have a banana milkshake... I shouldn't have bothered skipping the food as the milkshake is 11.5syns!! A small portion of chips would've been less!!

Todays food-

Oops...

Rosiepops- I buy the small fish snack pack from M&S which is 0.5syn each or the small fish sushi rolls from Sainsbury, which I cant find the syns for but overestimate at 2syns.
The smaller size Tesco ones (incl salmon one and hoi sin duck versions) are 1syn each too.

I think the veggie ones are a little higher than fish ones in some shops, as they use cream cheese filling or an omelette instead of the in the middle.

Don't worry about going over your syns, I would just stick to 10 today to make it up. Count it as flexi synning or so. :)

You make me really wanna buy sushi. I may pick some up.. hmmm.. Could be a nice dinner actually. And have a huge salad with it for extra SF... hmm.. :D

Yea I probably would've stayed under 10 syns... But I completely shouldn't have bought those Pops! But the way I'm munching through them they won't last much longer!! Hopefully I'll be sick of them soon... But doubt it!

Made the mistake of forgetting my sweetener dispenser again- so there's another syn wasted at play group!!

hmm I agree they are a tad addictive. I love them so much lol. I actually only have one pack left now so I may drag the mister out, later..

Food sounds super yum though!

And what about buying a sweetener dispenser just for your bag? so you don't have to think of it? :)
