A yummy (and happier and healthier) mummy - for good this time!

I make the tea an hour before I want it, and in a jug with like 4 bags in lol. Then if I want it hot I microwave it :)

Have just realised I forgot to do my entry yesterday and for once it wasnt because I was naughty!! I nodded off on the sofa by half time of the England game- and not just because the game was so boring!! My body clock seems out of sync at the moment :( Keep waking up at about 5am and then it's taking me at least an hour to nodd off again :( And I hate losing sleep!!

Yesterdays food-
B: Half a banana.
L: Spicy chorizo pasta (50g chorizo 3.5syns, onions, chilli, tinned tomatoes and pasta- basically my spicy prawn and chorizo pasta but I ran out of prawns...)
L: Chicken breast coated in schwartz seasoning and a roasted veg medley (new potatoes, onion, carrots and cherry tomatoes)

Snacks: Mini time out 4.5syns. Space raiders 3syns. Yogurt. Satsuma. Special K chewy bar hexB. Plum.
D: Generic regular skinny mocha (skimmed milk hexA and cocoa 3syns). Coke zero. Strawberry and mango fruit tea. 1 x cup of tea (sweetener and dash of skimmed milk 0.5syn)
Syn Total- 14.5syns
 
I also went to my favourite greengrocer yesterday (body magic with walking and pushing my little chunk) and got a lovely bunch of asparagus! Any tips on tasty ways to cook it? I always used to part-boil then griddle with garlic infused oil.. *drool* But need a SW friendly option!!

Also loads of body magic planned today, as I have quite a lot of housework to do... Been a bit slack on it lately!!
 
Yes you can. Some.people at my group sya they use it instead of garlic but I would not go that far but it does have a good hit of garlic. They have a chilli one too but haven't tried that yet.

I got all the way to dinner without using any syns today!! And I didnt even realise- so of course I went and used most of them up with evening snacks!!

So annoyed with my doctor- I put in a repeat prescription for my contraceptive pill yesterday, I collected it today and he authorised everything- meaning its going to cost me around £30 tomorrow and the thing I actually want is meant to be free!! Annoying as I barely have any money anyway (payday not until next week) and I need them ASAP so cant go in and ask them to re-do it, as it would take too long. GRRRRRR!!! Rant over :p

Todays food-
B: Nothing.
L: 50g philli light salmon and dill part hexA on 60g WM toast hexB. Yogurt. Banana. Satsuma.
D: 3 x Asda reduced fat sausages 4.5syns. Lightly boiled sugarsnap peas, babycorn and asparagus. Roasted veg medley (new potatoes, cherry tomatoes, carrots and onion)

Snacks: Mini time out 4.5syns. Propercorn salted 4.5syns. Grapes. Yogurt.
Drinks: Cups of tea (sweetener and dashes of skimmed milk part hexA) Coke zero. Water.
Syn Total - 13.5syns

Prewarning- I have work tomorrow. On a Saturday. When its always really busy and stressful :(
 
Ugh how annoying of your doctor. You could buy a prepayment for that and have 3 months worth of tablets for the same money which at least is better value. However you also can tell the chemist you only want the contraceptive - you don't have to take all the prescribed items. They then endorse the other items as ND (Not dispensed) which means they won't be paid for them when they submit the prescription for processing and just give you the one you've said you wanted.

Thanks for the advice Snow- I didn't realise you could just ask them to dispense what you need and not do the whole lot!! I will be asking at the chemist tomorrow :)

Im terribly naughty with breakfast :( You should eat something and I know my losses are probably stunted because I don't eat solid food until 11am/midday but its a habit I can't really break!
I sometimes try and share a piece of fruit with my little one...
The only time I've ever eaten in the morning was during pregnancy and that was because it actually helped with my sickness!!

I have a 22 month old boy called Reece :) He is my world- despite having hit the terrible twos recently!!
Awww at your little girl :) I wanted a boy during my pregnancy but I do go all goey over little pink clothes!!
 
Sharing a piece of fruit with your little boy is better than nothing. I know how hard it can be to get breakfast in the morning when you have a little person to get ready. Luckily I'm still on maternity leave so don't have to rush anywhere first thing.
She's amazing but all those pink clothes cost me a fortune :) terrible twos huh... I've got all this to look forward too xxx

Haha! All the little boy clothes cost me a fortune too- especially as he is growing far too quickly!! Thankfully it gets a little easier when you are not buying them every three months (although now Reece is a lot more boysterous he does dirty or ruin them a lot quicker too!)
You may have the terrible twos to look forward to but youve also got all the lovely exciting stuff before that!! And girls dont tend to be as bad in general! Boys push the limits a lot more. Reece isnt speaking properly yet either so he gets frustrated, making him tantrum even more!!
 
Work today- what a load of poopy! So busy and no staff :(
But considering that I had a bad day I was pretty much angelic with food :D Mainly because I havent been very hungry... I have made some butternut squash soup though- yum yum!!

L: Yogurt. Quavers 4.5syns. Plum. Banana. Special K Chewy Bar hexB.
D: Quick and easy paella (60g chorizo 4syns, onion, rice, chicken breast, peas and stock)

Snacks: Nectarine. Banana. Satsuma.
Drinks: Costa medium skinny latte (skimmed milk hexA, NO SYRUP!! And it was lovely without it!) 2 x cups of tea (sweetener and dashes of milk 1syn) Flavoured fizzy water. Water.
Syn Total- 9.5syns

My lowest syns in a while :)

D: Gammon and roasted veg medley (potatoes, cherry tomatoes, bell peppers, onion and carrots) with asparagus, sugarsnap peas and babycorn. Was so hungry so loaded my plate with veggies.

Snacks: Mango. Apple. Kiwi. Mini bag of pretzels 5.5syns.
Drinks: Cups of tea (sweetener and dashes of skimmed milk part hexA) Pepsi max cherry. Flavoured fizzy water.
Syn Total- 10syns
 
Oh seems a lot has been going on since I last popped in! I hope you managed to sort the problem with the pill.

Garlic frylight is available in tesco, or asda does an uber tiny one. I'm another that recommends it, and I'm a garlic nut!! I do often add more garlic, but I can still taste it when I can't be bothered and use the garlic frylight :p

You're welcome to come over to mine and do my housework.. :p
